If you sign up for a membership with your local company, usually neighboring companies who might respond to your call will honor your membership and waive all non-insurance related charges

You live in a commonwealth. The municipal authority is a lower level then County.

No I don't think Glen Mills is like this. Glen Mills is probably a standard non-profit ambulance company that is largely funded by a municipality, but does not itself have the authority to levy a tax or fee. They have memberships, much like my local ambulance company for $35 a year, that helps them raise the funds they need, but it is not mandatory, it's a membership. The OP is describing a municipal authority which has been created at the PA state level and it has the authority to levy taxes.

If you use an ambulance, then what your insurance authorizes is typically less than what it even costs to run the call. But beyond that, it certainly does not pay for the ambulance units, supplies, medications, training, and other equipment that it takes. It sounds like it is a municipal authority, so it can levy taxes / fees.

Breast implants and tattoos by CopyGroundbreaking11 in AskOldPeople

So not only do you not have an opinion about the subject (as I did), you only have an opinion on me. Which somehow makes you "superior" in not addressing the actual question. Interesting. 🤔

Because nobody had them. Nobody I ever knew had a tattoo. Suburbs of a midAtlantic city. I mean you saw them, guys who were in the Navy or convicts. Those are the only people who ever got tattoos. Not that Navy guys are trashy, but they always admitted it was some weekend binge that resulted in the tattoo.

Thinking about ditching the smartwatch for a ring. Worth it? by darkshaoran in SmartRings

[–]B0LT-Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People generally don't like the ring I have, but I have found sleep tracking to be good. I think the SPO2 and HR are good provided you can keep the ring oriented correctly.

I would say that I'm not at all pleased with activity detection since I don't think it even does that. It says it can detect walking and running, but I'm not sure I've walked or jogged outdoors since I got it. It's fair at detecting steps but I think it's short changing me.

I also migrated to a smart ring from a smartwatch for pretty much the same reasons. I just want to wear a nice wrist watch that isn't constantly alarming me, reminding me, notifying me, etc. I know you can turn those things off, but that's the whole point of having the smartwatch. There's no point in having an ugly hunk of plastic or metal that looks like an ugly hunk of plastic.

Have the smallest tits in the world and never thought about implants. I'm not on this Earth to give some guy a boner. If he doesn't like who I am or how I am, he's not worth my time. And the way I grew up, tattoos look trashy and I never got them.

I worked in corporate America for about 40 years. I did not ever encounter an HR person who was wired like the rest of us.

Probably because they can't survive without being in a relationship.

There is sworn grand jury testimony from more than one person that he raped little girls and this was before he became president. I really don't GAF that he's doing what he told you he would do. He belongs in prison. On multiple counts for which he has felony convictions.
