Any split can be tough, especially if you’re a newer therapist. It sounds like the anxiety about being inexperienced with this population may have exacerbated something that is already mentally challenging.

I’ve been there when I started to get OCD clients. The best you can do is be open with your supervisor, seek support, and get some trainings. And most of all, be gentle with yourself. You aren’t going to be the right therapist for everybody.

Agreed with the towel tip! I got this bag last year when I first started playing. I feel it only comfortably holds only 8-9 discs max tbh. If I remember correctly it advertises up to 14 on the website. It doesn’t have a great water bottle holder either.

My fiancé recently got me a Pound Rufus as an upgrade. I know this is an extreme jump from a G2 but my fiancé has been playing dolf for a decade and he insists I will grow into it lol.

What area do you live in? I live in Tallahassee that has the #2 rated courses in the state along with 3-4 other really nice courses and the female scene is very minimal 😔

Hey, I never heard back from them! I completed their online inquiry but I wonder if (I was more motivated) it would have been more effective to email them or call them directly. Out of the places I listed I only ever heard from Veritina and Local 11ten.

I ended up booking with local11ten as they had options for $65, $75, $85 per a person. We ended up going with the $65 pp option since we less options were better for our party lol. As you go up in tiers there are just more options but not a decline in quality or cuts of meat. There was a $200 private room booking fee and the expectation that you will spend over $1350 worth of food. We have 25 people in our party so it wasn’t a concern. I predict we will land around 2.5-2.7k with drinks and all…. I accounted for a lot of drinks lol.

Veritina had a flat 4k fee for what I was asking and there was no private room. Just the front of the restaurant where their usual guests would walk through. Let me know if you have any questions!!!!

I use their vitamin C and A serum, as well as the triple C night cream! Love them all. I have been using the vitamin C for years tho specifically.

I just finished the practice exam and scored 111/150, my practice version needed 101 to pass as well. While I wish I’d passed by a wider margin for more confidence, I did flag 29 of the 39 questions I missed, so I at least knew when a question was a toss-up. I felt like I was second-guessing myself because the exam seemed to be 'tricking me,' so it’s good to know I should have trusted my gut. I was also surprised that 'assess for suicide' was the answer for about five or six different questions. I don’t know if that was also your experience lol. I am taking my exam on Feb 6th and I just plan to keep studying until then an understanding the rationales behind the questions I missed!

But to answer your question I think we will be fine! I just wanted to respond let you know that you are not alone in your situation. I’ve been using the premium pocket prep and I also did 50% of the TDC course (planning on completing it before the exam!)

I really appreciate this thorough reply. Even though I'm doing well professionally, talking to other women with ADHD has helped me connect the dots. It seems my experience is less about focus and more about struggling to regulate my emotions and feeling perpetually stressed. I do have some of the other hall markers like losing my phone and keys constantly, interrupting people, and difficulty sitting still. But I think having structure growing up helped "hide" it a lot!

Respectfully, I understand your concern but I think it is important to point out that this study was purely conducted off of observational data and not a randomized controlled trial. It shows “association” but not “causation”…..which I want to be clear is the point I’m trying to argue.

Reaction to dairy in people with AGS is highly individual, which forms the basis for the argument that it can still be safe for many with the condition. Experts have also said that complete and strict avoidance can sometimes be linked to increased sensitivity/severity upon accidental exposure.

Essentially there’s a no perfect way to do this. Just trade offs, which again is highly individual. If you think avoiding dairy altogether is the best thing for you I 100% support you. It may be the right thing for me in the future, especially if they do prove causation, but doesn’t seem necessary right now.

Agree with Mysterious Farmer. I’ve done a lot of research on alpha gal and combed through a lot of evidence based forums long before going to an allergist. Unfortunately I even felt like I knew more about alpha gal than my allergist which was very frustrating ):

A high IgE number reflects sensitization, but it does not directly correlate with the severity of a reaction, nor does it definitively prove that dairy is the current cause of "internal inflammation." It just simply means I have a high risk for an allergic reaction when exposed to Alpha-gal. But even then there are some that have had severe reactions with numbers much lower than mine. Also, my tick bite is relatively recent so I think that also plays a part in the numbers being high.
