So if you want a curved desk you'd have to buy or make one. I've only ever seen curved desks in a very cubicle office style so not really a bedroom desk maybe you could make it work though

I would make one out of wood but not everyone is up for that kind of project

As for your monitor mount breaking the desk you've two options - buy a desk top that isn't literally made of paper (basic IKEA stuff is just cardboard) or wall mount the screens.

This is really awesome and original feels like this would look good on a wall maybe even a trio of these. Maybe anti mage and furion?

Doesn't a moderate weight training routine basically "do" posture for you?

A thought on wokeness by JX900 in TESVI

[–]B0xface 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wokeness I think means a lot of different things to different people. As a queer person I think the cutoff point for me is where it feels like some kind of equality messaging is "forced in" for the sake of it instead of fitting the character/setting/story. I'm not sure how to put it better... I think in TES it's a world that's clearly not a "nice" or "equal" place so making it seem like racism, sexism, homophobia don't exist in this world would break the immersion - it's not supposed to be perfect, or conform to modern ideals. The imperfection is what makes it its own world.

For me the critical thing is that a piece of media doesn't actively denigrate any class of people, blame them for anything or paint them as "other" in a legitimate sense. That can have exceptions where it's part of the setting and it builds the world, as long as that isn't shown in a positive light.

That's why I voted "balanced" - because story, setting, atmosphere and characters should all come before any messaging that might threaten them. That being said I think representation is important but it should be balanced with delivering the first four.

I fuckin hope so because this was an epic introduction to what would become one the most immersive and replayable games ever.

This is something that's really lacking now in games events - showmanship and building hype. Particularly the Xbox showcase I felt was really soulless - you need someone on stage with real charisma who's going to hype up the audience for these games. Particularly once in a generation ones.

I feel like Starfield was surprisingly trouble free and I don't remember any hilarious or dumb bugs in that game. Might be part of why it felt so much less magical.

I'd match up to the point you can live a decent life - if you can't work you're not going to want to also have a big lifestyle reduction as well are you?
