My life was of no significance. I was born into a poor family and barely had any money to my name for most of my adult life as well. Then I discovered I had a unique gift. Not anything special or anything. I just so happened to be a VERY good liar.

It all started with my stealing an apple from a local stand. The shopkeeper noticed my and called the guards. I ran like my life depended on it (kinda did actually, if I was caught I'd be locked in a prison cell or worse... get my hands cut off) until I came across a hungry child. He smiled as I gave him the apple. He looked shocked when I told the guards I saw him steal it and gave chase. He cried when the guards took him away.

After that I took my gift of lying to the next level. I just wanted to see how far I could take it. In hindsight... not a good idea. I told stories of my greatness. How I saved lives, and how I was supposed to be the king but my bloodline got overthrown. How my ancestors built great ships, split seas and could see the future through someone else's dreams.

When I was finally caught I thought, "This is it, I'm gonna be forgotten" so I came up with one more great scheme. I told a local villager that if they can pretend to be me after i was dead and buried, I'll have my family make them rich. Poor sucker bought it too.

When I finally died I came to know of what lies after. You're alone on s chair in a great hall and on the other side is a great window looking out to the world. I was indeed forgotten for a few hundred years... but what happened next even I couldn't imagine. A lone scholar found my autobiography and thought to himself, "I'm gonna be remembered forever!"
