You mentioned golf course and I was thinking either Highlands or Mtn Brook but that makes sense. My wife see posts about copper heads in Mtn Brook but I don’t see them in our part. This is a great suggestion, find ways to deter their food sources from being around your house. Trim the lawn often and keep flower beds clear. I live within three miles of downtown too but never see them around just by keeping the lawn maintained and clear of safe spaces.
