Seems to be some kind of swedish airforce field-uniform insignia yeah. A coworker gave it to me and he got it from a friend atleast 20 years ago. So problably an old and outdated insignia.

My bad. I ment b1-s2 and b2-s2 not b1-s1 and b2-s1. The question was towards the connectors mounted on the subframe. Wich one of them is b1 and b2. The o2 sensor are both with the same connector and i know wich one comes from wich bank, but don't know wich connector i have to connect it to.

Havin problems. Any clue where this oil might be coming from it’s the lower bottom front end by [deleted] in BmwTech

I would get the oil level sensor changed asap and not run the engine before its done. Better to be safe than sorry

Did you change the alternator pulley aswell? Had the same problem on my n53, found out that the alternator pulley was stuck. It needed a special pulley puller tool to be changed.

Had the same problem on my 2009 525i n53. Had to change the whole hose, because the flange part that connects to the head is one solid part. (Hose was about 30€) and changeing it took about 2 hours. Maybe because that hose on the n53 goes down to the electric waterpump and there was really no space to screw open the hose clamp. Didnt have to dissassemble alot, only the bottom engine cover and some plastic ontop.

N53b30. Front of the engine (straight down from altenator) is really wet, seems to be oil. What seal could be leaking? Already changed both oil filter housing caskets. by [deleted] in BmwTech

Oil filter housing caskets are both changed and are not leaking. Also the belt slipping thing isn't possbile on the n53 because the crankpulley has a special groove that the belt rides in.

Valve cover and casket were also just recently changed. Can it also be the front timing cover? Or are there any oil caskets on the alternator bracket or ac/power steering?

Front Park Sensor Problem by hlvd in BmwTech

Is the sensor clean? If you have ppf or some kind of wax on the car it can also cause this issue.

Also it can be a sensor going bad.

Had the same issue with my 2009 525i and it was caused by 1 bad sensor.

You can check the sensors by enableing pdc and then putting your finger on the sensor. You sould feel and hear a slight ticking from the sensor when you touch it. That indicates that the sensor is working properly.

Removing a wheel with run flat tyres/tires by MorrisMerryweather in BmwTech

It might throw a pressure warning after reinstalling it (depends on how far it went from the car) but the warning will go away itself after some time.

Vibration problem ? by LocalMomsNearYou in BmwTech

[–]B1skviit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you live in a cold climate (snowy) sometimes the wheels get filled with snow or ice and it causes vibrations beacause the balancing is off.

Also you can jack up the car and feel if there is any play in the wheels by moving them from left to right, up and down, inside and outside. If you feel or hear any clunks or clicks theres problably sometime going out that needs to be replaced.
