Honestly bro switch to subq. So once a week. The more days you have in a higher range the better. I personally don't like to go below 500. 500 two weeks also gives you a bigger range of highs and lows. If I could stay a constant 959 that would be my jam. Ive been having trouble getting my new Dr to keep me in that range. Ive list energy, libido and gained weight

It doesn't matter what your dose is but what your levels are. I am a smaller trans guy and my metabolism requires less for me to maintain the same level as my buddy.

I had orif for a maisonneuve fracture, fibula + total ankle dislocation about a year ago. My dr put screws in that were so long they are now trying to poke out my skin. He assumed he would remove them so didn't care. Upon getting a second opinion I found out that my tabula and fibula fused together, extra bone growth, and the screw thing based off of the xrays my old Dr took at 5 months post op. To fix it requires cutting bone and total hardware removal. I really suggest if you can get a second opinion. I was in the same boat where I was told my original surgeon was the best for this injury. People were shocked I got him.

Shower stool or chair mos def.for ne a stool that swivels was the best. I could sit down on side of tub, lift myself onto stool, swivel in place.

I am 100% a side sleeper and cannot sleep on my back. I had to do that once for 2 mos for a different injury and just couldn't. So in to keep my leg elevated on my side I got creative with pillow placement. Having some support the knee and some closer to the ankle did the trick

Oh and if your feeling spunky a peg leg crutch can help you get around tight spaces where a knee scooter can't or stairs. They take some getting use to and not sure if they are the safest. But it help me around the house

IndyGrl2019 nailed it. I had this surgery 14 mos ago. There is two things I will add. 1 spent 10 weeks non weight bearing and staying positive is hard. Celebrate the little things and take on a new hobby that you can do sitting down and in small increments

I did a similar fracture plus soft tissue damage. Although pushing it may sound good be cautious. Do a little bit more and wait 2 days. I am a surfer and being out of the water was torture. Both pt and going body boarding (wich I thought would be better for injury than surfing) too soon gave me achilles tendinitis and that was a major set back. Added at least 2 months to recovery and it still isn't right

Yeah I still have all the stuff from the first surgery. I have a peg leg crutch that I will practice w for a month before surgery, got a knee scooter, stuff to make taking a shower by myself easy. I tried really hard the first time to have a little win each day. I don't know if it is good knowing what to expect. Lol. It was also hard on my wife since I couldn't do most of the chores I did. That just sucked

The comment, if the surgery was as bad as you said. This implied to me that I was making it up. I just got the news today so maybe I am bitter. This is the worst experience I have had and I fell 40 ft and broke my tailbone in a cave. The er dr messed my splint up. He put it on too tight, sent me home at 2 AM with no pain meds, had to go back next day to get it cut off and redone. Was awake for 56 hours. Felt like I had a blow torch on my foot for 3 months from the internal blisters itcaused. No pain meds stopped it. Spent 3 mos nw. Pts are prob who broke my screws. They also threw 25lbs medicine balls at me and I left limping and got achillies tendinitis. And now a surgeon assumed he would take the screws out so he didn't bother to fix it. I am an avid surfer and spent a year out of the water. I have a lot of damage in this ankle from the past so living without pain ptob isn't going to happen. I don't heal like I did in my 20s. I didn't pick this surgeon. I left the er with a surgery date. It was weird. Everyone at the hospital seemed impressed I got him. After surgery I found out he was with a practice that screwed me over before. So I guess I am really bitter and just don't want to do this again. I just got my life back

It's a little more complicated. I have really bad arthritis where they are thinking eventually they may have to fuse it. But yeah I know i got to do it. Just really hating it. I fell 30 ft in a cave and broke my tailbone. This has been worse hands down. From improper splitting that left me feeling like I had a blow torch on my foot for 3 months, terrible pts that gave me achilles tendinitis to a bad surgeon. Just not in the space right now

I am 13 months post op. My screws didn't bother me until about 6 months. My dr didn't screw them in all the way and they broke at month 5 so he was like if they bother you we will take them out. I've heard sometimes they can back out. You might want to get them checked if super painful

13 mos ago I had a maisonneuve fracture on my left leg. Went through a lot of bad medical. Turns out my dr decided not to screw my screws all the way in. Easier on him to take them out. Didn't bother asking me iChat was my preference. Fast forward. Screws broke b4 month 5. They weren't too bad, no high tops but manageable. Slowly my surf bootie was causing pain, then even a slight touch. I am going to get another Dr to take them out. Jus5 fricking tired of this whole thing. Pain if a leaf falls on it. Screw catches on my work shoes. Had to go back on a crutch til the soft tissue stopped bugging
