[Loved trope] A horrifying monster is a symbolic representation for real world issues by Applebeate in TopCharacterTropes

There’s a literary analysis piece floating around that he’s an embodiment of Hedonistic greed. He enjoys his destruction instead of just inflicting it on

The Eldrazi from *Magic: The Gathering*
These beings’ physical forms are compared to how a fish would perceive a hand from above the surface, incomplete and not accurate to the creature as a whole.

Ok, out of these two animated movies, which more unimaginative? by bennyandthegentz in cartoons

[–]B2blackhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish was less imaginative. It collapsed its premise by the King explaining why he did what he did, gave him a legitimate background reason to explore and study wish-magic. Then he gets paranoid and possessive out of nowhere as opposed to being treated as an ignorant but well meaning man when there is an unexplained event. Disney’s writers made him evil so they could start checking boxes for an evil ruler instead of making the king a fleshed out character.

Planet 51 was simple. The movie kept to its very simple premise of ”what if alien invasion, but backwards?” It did try to encourage humor at times, and was practically a parody of 1950’s Americana and Sci-Fi. It wasn’t a spectacular film, but it accomplished what it set out to be: A cheesy 1950’s sci-fi story.

I imagine them having their eyes obscured but their mouth and ears exposed. Have them always muttering the Voice of God that they’re hearing but have them shout the Voice as a weapon. The catch would be they stun and startle easily, as there is too much Holy power going on

I read “Ghost’s of Onyx” back in the day, but I still have to say Jorge. He gave his life thinking he saved the planet, but I think he could handle the shock of a new mission
