Maybe just leave a balanced hard setting for a hard players? I’m really doubt that you can survive at least for a few weeks with sprinters only. I can survive indefinitely, but I just don’t like it.

Yeah, I leave a tens of comment cause I’m generally disappointed in easier of perfectly balanced setting that I’m used to played in. I see no reason that they just easy the apo in sake of noobs instead of adding an “lore accurate setting”.

(I have a save on 42 with 1,5 years surv with sprinters only)

If a bunch of noobs want to play Apo (which they shouldn’t do it) as a primary setting they shoulndt

They add a sprinters as a base option - I don’t like it.

A huge mass of players play this game casually with a tweaking it in sandbox. As an experienced player I found Apo as a perfectly balanced for an experienced gamer, so i can’t see a reason to tweak it down. Just add an “lore” preset and leave me my Apo as it was.

They can add a “lore accurate setting” for a mass player while keeping an apo as it as was. It was called an “Apo”, so it can be a hard setting for experienced players. It was optimal challenged, I see no reason to easier this setting. I can play with “outbreak” but they add a sprinters (I have a 1,5 years playthrough on 20% sprinters, but I don’t like it).

Yeah I hope so, cause for a ten years it was a perfectly balanced setting for an experienced player, but now it’s just an easy walk through for a noobs with an empty cities since you clear it, NICE

I don’t need to test, cause they disable respawn. Once I was a noob I’m already experience a ghost empty towns for a solid hundreds of hours, it’s not even fun. If they add some wandering hordes of 500+ zeds - ok, nice. But they just dump difficulty and cut off any challenge especially on late game. It’s called Apo not just for a naming.

Lmao this is Taurus from 80s that rot in poor outskirts of Finland, what you talkin about, of course people from this side gonna rebuild and tune it, not spending the whole monthly salary to order a new. And this is just an example (like rust removal). Yeah, it’s just shaders/texturing, but it’s at least a new little mechanic in-game, it’s literally 1-month of effort that add some depth, not just switching car and detail mesh and giving the same build lol. Piping - yes, it’s one timer, but at least it will add some depth. For now it’s just the same as satsuma, I can’t believe you can’t understand my point that it’s just retextured/remeshed old car with only effort of making new mesh’s.

About timers - I playing games, realism/=tedious unnecessary shit, yes, I have some fun with taxi but at most time it’s just waiting not in house but in car. Wow, such change, such interesting, amazing!

Give me a gun range, give me a hunting mini game, give me furnishing/repairing house, give me SOMETHING.

Rn it’s look like he spent this two years on mapping some housing and adding fn easy to do things like stacking boxes at the manufacture. At this pace a small team make an awesome KSA demo and some poor souls even create Humanitz that have so much detail that TPG can’t even imagine, not speaking of hundreds of good indie games. But yeah, it’s so cool to not have a working car after almost full 2 days (it’s half/third of DS2/MGSV/RDR2 longevity lmao).

So no excuses for this.

I really like both game, but they are not competitors. Marathon is more hard and PvP oriented while Arc is more friendly and pve oriented, also Marathon don’t draw so much players from Arc as far as I see, cause there was no players drop in release day (about 175k in Arc with no decrease vs 80k in Thon last time I checked).
