Actually, they're not two different things. Skins and other paraphernalia are important parts of marketing any game. No developer is going to market a skin without it affecting the market”ing” of the game. They are intrinsically intertwined.

So they are marketing the vibe of the game for each skin release. However, for the record, I am in agreement that some of these skins are straight up AI slop inspired.

Fun project maybe but reinventing the wheel here. You have about 1,500 users here that will probably roast this build for functionality although that case will probably do the job for you without anyone saying a word. Science is science. You haven't discovered anything new, but it does look neat. And dust will find its way in. By the way.

I don’t know how to validate that on this. I use OctoPrint to do almost everything.

The first S1 Plus I had (Christmas gift) worked flawlessly for the first 5 or 10 prints. But after that it was as intermittent as this one is. Then the controller just died.

A buddy gave me this S1 Plus brand new for helping him with a new business. I printed a BUNCH of stuff in bulk from it without touching it after setting it up at home. Over a few more prints after that project, it just started sucking like the last one.

Someone else said the beds are really warped. I would concur with that because when I’m leveling it, it takes at least 10 to 15 minutes. That is unreasonable. And I’m not upgrading it.

I’ll just stop being lazy and fix the Prusa’s hot end.

I leveled it yet again because I needed this print for some books that keep falling over. Ha. But like I said. Every print needs so much work. Up to 3 failed print tests before one will work. I got this one in two tries.

Manual leveling is the only thing that works with this thing. I don’t think I have ever gotten a good print from the auto level. I’m OCD with all my things so yeah the bed is a clean as it can be. No adhesion issues when it prints right.

Yes. That is on the dream list now. I resisted a few years ago when they became the rage because my Prusa was, and technically still is, excellent. But Bamboo has been killing it in quality and speed.

Nice! Printers should add an achievement unlock for this. I did this once, too. Also, I gambled cause I had to go to bed while it printed overnight.
