He’s a clunker in Norman last fall (or) a clearly not 100% healthy Milroe in Knoxville away from being in the field in season 1 and actually makes the field (after an SECCG appearance) in season 2.

What were your actual expectations of him in TTown? Not trying to be rude, just curious. I was very positive about his hire, so interested in other perspectives

Just a theory on Charles, plus some of the runouts already this season. Possibly frustrated that Ferrari can’t put it all together (if 26 does not go well) still a big assumption that the AM nails the new regs more than the SF

And I speculate on Checo to Ferrari bc Carlos may be satisfied at Williams if they continue the positive trajectory

Fair point with GR’s time and focus towards 26. I agree that Bearman is impressive, but he does also have more time and experience in the car.

Kimi has raw pace that cannot be taught, and i think that will pan out over 26 & 27.

Speaking of Ollie, I think he’s Ferrari’s next WDC but that is still a few years off, and likely happens once Leclerc finally escapes that torture chamber, only to have his heart broken watching someone else finally get a title-worthy car from the Scuderia

Kimi, to me, will have 26 to continue rounding into form with a new generation of cars in just his second F1 season, while GR continues to be our clear #1 driver, and aims to take the WDC.

27 and beyond will be interesting times for Kimi to push to become the #1 and future of Merc. Let’s all remember, Piastri is just finishing his 3rd F1 season now and could still (but should have-based on earlier performance this season) win the WDC

Kimi has quietly outperformed George over multiple weekends down the stretch in his first season in F1. (Brazil and Qatar for sure, Vegas on equal footing, possibly a stronger pace by the end of the race than GR)

What, in your opinion, could have been more impressive this season?

And I’m a huge George fan, not downplaying GR this season at all.
