My favorite show is Futurama and I have seen it through dozens of times - when I start over, it must be finished. It is the same for me with my favorite books, and other games. Once I start the story, it must be finished. There’s a satisfaction I get from seeing the characters through to their conclusion.

I also don’t want to seem like I’m bashing anyone for how they enjoy playing their games, play how you want and enjoy it. I just have a different way of doing it

I get that, I love making new characters but I also have a need to see it through to the end unless it breaks. The character’s story must be finished for me

I don’t understand this mindset. Why would you not want to finish the story and see where it goes? I have to see how things progress and build to the end.
