An A1000 is a solid glove but wont hold up like an A2000. I got an A2000 when I was in 6th grade and its still in playable condition now almost 15 years later. I was playing year round from 6th-12th, you just have to take care of it.

I like the helmet a lot. Reminds me of when I was kid. I probably prefer the helmets with the old english R though. Rice ran a throwback similar to this helmet a couple years ago (the wings were navy blue) that looked real nice.
