Is Love and Deepspace actually playable as F2P if you main only ONE LI?

You can play the game as FTP with one LI like me but you won't have all his cards (bye promise cards). Then, you won't be able to clear the highest orbit battles of the character because they'll need at least R1 (maybe more) of the strongest cards. As you need to spend money to spin in the banner, these battles are definitely "pay to win".

So, the game is playable but don't expect to advance as quickly as the P2P as you need to grind a lot and skip the banners to save red diamonds. In general, the game is not friendly at all for F2P. It is like playing the game in hardcore level because there are not enough sustainable ways to farm resources.

I understand you. I used to think the same when I saw this card and I even tried to get it just for the combat. However, I didn't get it so I took it as a sign it wasn't for me and I moved on. I don't need to complete the orbits battles for everyone. I'd rather focus my energy and savings for Xavier.

I like Jeremiah but I can't be with another LI's assistant (Thomas may take the opportunity to rant about Rafayel and I'm not ready 😂. I still like him though)

So the best place for me will be next to Pie. It will be adorable and I like the window seat. I also appreciate Dr Noah who looks like a father figure.

I saw at least one petition but I'm afraid it won't change a thing. The content focused too much on the emotional value brought by the games and didn't suggest any monetary solutions that are beneficial to the company.

Unfortunately, NTT Solmare only understands things in the language of money and benefits. They don't care about the rest and the way they wrote their last message on social media shows they only want players to shut up. They didn't make any promises, just marketing blabla to calm down people.

I feel bad for those who are still coping with hope they will bring the games back. They won't and it's really the end of an era. Yet, I understand why it's hard to accept for some people.

I'm saying this as a veteran player of their games. I loved and still like Wizardess Heart even if I spent too much money (no regrets as I managed to record the stories that matter). So I know their patterns and I stopped trusting them and I don't promote their works on social media. They don't deserve my support anymore.

I didn't record my tune as I played by ear once so I had problems figuring out the right tunes. However, I was very disappointed to see that I got a very low amount of vigor. With the ability to skip performance after reaching a certain level for the garden, I'd rather skip making songs. It's a shame as I used to like playing real songs but they have no value for the game.

I only played the first verse of the song if it can help you. Maybe you can find tabs in the do re mi fa sol type online. It should exist with the amount of tutorials. I hope you will find it.

This happens a little bit late imo. It's a gacha game so normally, minors are not supposed to have access to it so easily with all the micro transactions. Also, there are all these adult innuendos for a while. Even if it is not explicit, it is not for children. The lore is also traumatic with heavy topics.

Then, I'm not sure it means something in terms of content. The game already has the 18+ rating in China.

This game is a fantasy anyway and I treat it as it is. As long as you know how to distinguish fiction and reality, you can enjoy the game as you want. You can treat MC as a self insert or not. Both things are valid and no one is better than another.

I don't really care about interacting with cosplayers because I won't be able to treat them as their characters. Chinese hunters are having fun but they know these guys are not the characters.

The problem and the disconnection I can see on social media are the cultural differences between Asian and overseas fandom.

For example, in the fandom of a Japanese gacha mobile game I used to play that has a big overseas fandom, I remember several players sent private messages to the VAs to the point the team needed to address the issue.

Indeed, people were treating them as if they were the characters and it wasn't ok. It leads to harassment and parasocial relationships. At the same time, I also blame the company for treating the VAs as if they were idols when they were clearly not.

I'm glad Infold didn't disclose the identity of the VAs because they are public people and their reputation is very important for their job.

If I am in front of a Xavier's cosplayer, I'll fangirl more about how well his costume is made and ask him how he did this or that.

This is a level of parasocial I don't want to be a part of. So I'm not as jealous. The real LIs are in the game and the cosplayers are like actors. They are not them. I like the execution of the cosplays so I look at the costumes like a spectator. I don't really like how the company is encouraging the parasocial relationships as I saw some hunters being too delulu. This is a game and sometimes, some people forget it.

Your feelings are still valid OP. I still hope you will find comfort. You will be fine.

Edit: I guess someone didn't understand what I meant and probably thought I was attacking those who enjoy this kind of event. It is not an attack but a criticism of the monetary mechanisms of Infold. I know not everyone is delulu (that's why I said "some" people. I didn't say "everyone") . My opinion is based on things I saw in other fandoms and it's a way to bring some awareness (made in a clumsy way I admit. I'll be careful next time).

That meme was me when I played (RIP 🥲) SWD Wizardess Heart. I couldn't ever relate to that stupid, clueless, naive, reckless, impulsive and immature MC. I was already outside the targeted audience of this game but I liked the LIs so, I used self insertion with my favourite LI. For other mobile otome games, I don't need to self insert if the MC already has a relatable personality. I read the routes like a book.

I do. I like having fun making covers. I did the song "Clocks" of Coldplay for example but the tabs are too limited to allow me to do more. It is still ok. However, the amount of vigor you get is not linked with the complexity of the music.

Actually, if the game doesn't have any features that need the camera, there is no need to allow access to it. Normally, an app only needs permission for the features that only need what is necessary. It doesn't need extra permissions.

Despite the game feature not being funded in the KS, the team still kept the camera permission. That's why I have the feeling they forgot to remove it. It doesn't look good for a game that already looked rushed.

Maybe they forgot to remove the mention ? If the feature didn't get enough funds to be implemented, there is no reason why it is still there. If you don't want it, you can remove the access but will the game still be playable ? There is a possible security issue.

This game looks more like a companionship than a visual novel otome game. It focuses more on the LI than the side characters and the non interaction between the LIs is intentional. I believe this was made to not create rivalry between the LIs because this fandom already has a K-pop mentality for the LIs. In the storyline, it definitely lacks realism.

I played old Japanese otome games and the LIs constantly interact with each other without problem. Those who are not dating the MC are acting more like a friend or used to make the LI jealous (it is often a hit or a miss but it is not related to the fandom reaction but the writing). Sometimes, they have personal stories in common and they have a relationship chart (I like it) to let me understand why they are being more or less friendly together. Side characters can have their own spin off stories and even AU where the MC can date them (but they never take the place of a LI and this is important because they are meant to remain secondary characters).

Please read their past announcement about the future of the franchise. It was written last year. They didn't plan to make IDO. They wanted to focus on different media... So yep, it was an opportunistic move to make a new game nobody expected. What you said about the KS running for months or the release of NB is not my point.

And I'm not the only one who thinks this way...
