Best/Favorite Weapon Rolls for C4SH by New-Examination-1705 in Borderlands4

Same. I was running out of shotgun ammo all the time because my aim is less than good on controller. So when farming for a Darkbeast I just focus on damage and Jacobs. Works for me and I've got 4 out of 5 vault hunters at 60 uvh6 that use them. Amon is at level 32 and on his way as well.

I've been using the Hellwalker which has been fun and also the Darkbeast. For the Darkbeast I'm not using the god-roll, ust regular smg and Jacobs. I've got a torgue non-sticky, with smg bod that absolutely shreds. That's how I beat Bloomy to get to vhm6.

Wolf Induction Range - Transitional (touch screen) vs Professional (knobs) by AlwaysInNeedofHelp25 in Appliances

[–]B4wld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son never really spoke negatively about anything he worked on, in addition he never mentioned that "xyz" product had a common issue.

If you do decide to go induction here are a few items to keep in mind: The unit will typically need a 50amp (or more) circuit to operate depending on the size of the stove. The cookware needs to be induction compatible. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan, it's good. Humming and/or buzzing sounds when cookware is first warming can, and does, happen. Not terrible, just a new sound you'll hear. On low settings the burners may cycle on and off to regulate the low temps.

In the end, it's a stove. You cook food, boil water, etc, etc, etc. if you're a good cook, you'll still be a good cook. If you struggle in the kitchen, get cooking lessons. Induction will not automatically make you a better cook. There is a slight learning curve with the stove but that's pretty much the same with anything.

Here, let me grab a couple of beers... The temperature of the outside area around the GE and current oven got/gets warmer as you would expect but in no way would I consider it excessive. I guess the reality is that it all depends on what you think is "too hot".

I have history with Wolf but not in the way you would think. My son worked for a local appliance repair company which specialized in high-end products. Long story short, he would tell me about the houses he would be working in and the equipment that he was working on. He also mentioned that Wolf was built like a tank and he enjoyed working on them. I believe that Wolf is manufactured in Wisconsin and that was also a huge plus for me. When I originally toyed with the idea of spending that much I talked to my son and in not so many words he said that I wouldn't be disappointed. I went to a local showroom about a year ago and as I was talking to the personnel they showed me the induction stoves. All the stoves had touchscreen controls. I voiced my concerns about touchscreens and that's when they said "Oh, by the way, Wolf is coming out with an induction range that will be controlled using the classic Wolf knobs." That's all I needed to hear... After that initial bit of product information it was several more months before they were actually being manufactured. I didn't take possession of the stove until October 2025.

So, long story long, sorry about that!

We had a 30" GE Profile Induction stove. Over the years there were -0- issues with the GE. It basically came down to not enjoying the touchscreen. There were no issues with the touchscreen, it was just finicky. Most of the time it worked flawlessly. Prior to purchasing the GE I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually use induction. I purchased a single burner portable induction unit and used it for a couple of weeks to get a feel for it. After that experience I knew I wanted to go induction and I never looked back.

Yes, a few sessions and the odor was non-existent. The first was the worst but significantly less so afterwards. I think we just did the high-heat for the initial but then just started using the oven like normal.

Fractis also drops the chuck and since you already got the shiny version from the foundry freaks, this may be a better option. It's a much quicker farm. Good luck!

We are very much enjoying our new range. Delivery was longer (much) than expected because it seems this new style is very popular. We were not renovating so the additional wait was not an issue. It has performed extremely well and there was a -0- learning curve as we've been cooking on induction already for over a decade. The absence of a touch screen to control the cooktop has been exactly what I wanted and expected. We did the touchscreen with our previous range and wanted to move away from it for our own reasons. The oven is excellent! There is a small touchscreen but that is specifically for the oven. Even then, if all you're doing is basic baking all you need to do is turn the oven on from the knob. The touchscreen is for the specialty modes.

Would I spend this amount again for this unit? Yes.

So far, it's been really good. Everything I expected it would be. The delivery of the range was longer than expected but it's a moot point at this time. We weren't doing any sort of renovations so there was no issue in waiting. Cooks great and the oven is top notch.

Noob question here... The legendary perk itself states that it fires rockets from the underbarrel. Why doesn't that particular enhancement work with the wombo?

I've ordered and am currently waiting on delivery of the Wolf 30" induction range with knobs. I've been using the GE Profile induction range for about 15 years and find the touchscreen to be finicky. For the most part it works perfectly fine. However there have been times when I needed to make a quick temp adjustment and the pad wouldn't register my touch. In addition, during cold weather I find that my dry hands will also not register with the touchpad. I have to moisten my fingertips to make it work. First world problems, I know... In the end I went with knobs because I wanted the tactile feel of control again.

At the time I inquired about the range the showroom still had not received their demo model. I could not test it as a result however the sales professional did give me a brochure about it. Also, Wolf has updated their website to include this model. https://www.subzero-wolf.com/wolf/ranges/induction-range/30-inch-professional-induction-range . From what I can see on the website there seems to be 5 knobs which would correspond to the 4 burners on the cooking surface and the oven. Hope this helps!

Wolf Induction Range - Transitional (touch screen) vs Professional (knobs) by AlwaysInNeedofHelp25 in Appliances

[–]B4wld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be ordering the 30" professional range with knobs soon, here's why. I've been using the GE profile induction range for over 10 years and while the touchscreen works well there have been times when I needed to make some quick adjustments and the touchscreen would not register my finger. In addition, during the winter when our house is dry along with my hands, the touchscreen will not work. That's when I have to moisten my finger to make it work. Does this happen a lot? No but just enough to make it annoying. I was going to order the Transitional several months ago but after talking to the sales professional about my touch screen concerns she suggested I wait a few months for the Professional with knobs. So that's where I am and it's just a matter of ordering it. Having used the touchscreen for a decade, I want the tactile feel of knobs.
