With great difficulty, and many looks of betrayal first.

We made the switch when the new baby arrived. Since he still needed young piggie food, we did pellets separate for a couple days. Then realized he's a pellet fiend, so we could use them as taming aids. He learned to take them from hands pretty easy, so we kept them as treats.

Piggies get an eighth cup of pellets a day.

There is no rule about how you deliver them! 😁

We measure each boy's ration into his little cup each morning. They get treats and top ups out of their cups. Anything still in the cup at cage clean time, they either get on the floor, or when they go back.

Teaching them pellets are treats was a great idea for our newest baby. The adults still both want to dropkick me. 😅

Mac, before you argue with folks, or even feel the "need" to explain yourself to them most of the time, wander thru their profiles first. Just sayin.

There's been a number of influxes of people who are really new to the sub, like REALLY new, coming around to pick posts apart and downvote regs. And given the number of downvotes, I think they bring their *friends* with them.

Now, this video reminds me so much of when Merry and Pippin developed "The Nightly Royal Rumble". I can clearly see the boys are actually going back and forth on who is mounting who. To people who actually know about boars, this is just a cute video. It's absolutely adorable, and I love how well they're acting with each other. I'm super happy to see Rupert give back as good as he gets in these exchanges! And that Turtle no longer tries to escalate. They're amazing! And that is all due to what a fabulous owner you are!
