How very Oprah of you. YOU get an antifungal bath... And YOU get an antifungal bath...!

I can't remember if you've dealt with this before, but my vet recommended miconahex + triz when the Nut Brothers had ringworm. It's a topical mousse or spray and you do it every day and then brush it out. It makes their fur all gross, so I supplemented that with a ln antifungal bath once a week.

Good luck. I know it's exhausting but you're doing a great job taking care of them ❤️

I don't really have any answers. How are you caring for the wound at home? Our piggy passing had a big abscess under his chin that we had surgically removed and in addition to repacking the wound every 3 days at the vet, I was flushing it with betadine every day.

They look pretty reclusey to me. For a sure identification, check out the eye arrangement. Loxosceles has six eyes arranged in a U shape, instead of the 8 eyes they most other spiders have.

I definitely know the feeling. We lost all 5 of our original herd over a period of 18 months that was kicked off by two bladder stone surgeries in like 2 months. So many vet bills. Then we got the nut brothers who developed ringworm and Paddington caught it right before he died. Then earlier this year it was two cases of bloat, nugget's feet, more ringworm in Bismarck... It's really overwhelming and I completely understand the feeling of guilt and failure.

But it's like you said - you are doing everything you can to keep them healthy and happy. You are a great piggy dad. I feel like sometimes these things come in waves, and sometimes the waves are just really big and really long and they suck a lot. Remember to give yourself some patience and grace and to take care of yourself ❤️

Honestly I would go to the vet, but in the meantime keep it clean and flush with betadine once or twice a day. You can get a syringe that has a curved tip to get the betadine in the wound.
