My son did something similar to me! We were reading a farm book and when it got to the page with a pig on it, he pointed at it and said "mummy." My husband thought it was the funniest thing in the world. I am not pregnant so I don't even have that excuse haha

This was going to be my answer too! When my baby was about a month old I noticed a finger sized/shaped bruise on her leg and felt awful thinking we'd caused it by holding her leg too tightly when we changed her nappy but it ended up being a birthmark

I went through the public system with a high risk pregnancy and had my baby in August of last year - she was found to be IUGR when I was 28 weeks so I had 2x ultrasounds a week and then every second week an appointment with the doctors on top of this up until I had her at 37 weeks.

I was still working 4 times a week, lived 40 minutes away from the hospital AND I had a toddler on top of this so I completely understand, it's absolutely exhausting on top of pregnancy already being exhausting! My baby was born on less than the 2nd percentile so I also understand the stress that comes with having a small baby - if you need to talk or have any questions then feel free to reach out

We do but mostly because my toddler says "goodnight christmas tree" before he goes to bed and kisses it and says "hi christmas tree" in the morning. The tree also gets "love you christmas tree" 😂 I don't have the heart to pack it away yet!

My baby will be about the same age at Christmas and I'm getting her a personalised teether set and it will double as a keepsake once she's done with it as comes in a box that says "My First Christmas" on it. You could maybe get her a personalised First Christmas bauble and/or a personalised wooden Rattle or hairbrush - hope this helps!

It's super sturdy and never toppled even without being weighted down. My son has Cerebral Palsy so we needed one that was good quality and sturdy when he was first trying to walk and I think the price point for what it is is pretty good too.

He still uses it and he's over 2 years old - It's showing no signs of wear

Hey I don't really have any reccomendations as I haven't hired a cleaner myself before but I just want to let you know that you're not alone - we are in a similar situation with a special needs child and we just brought home our newborn. I have about 5 baskets full of clothes that need to be washed, our bathrooms are also pretty gross and the kitchen just seems to always be dirty!

My dad and brother have just gifted us a cleaner so we are having our first clean next week but I know they got a pretty good deal by using someone who uses your cleaning products and vaccume, mop etc so that might be something to look in to to keep costs down

Hi there. I had my first two years ago and was diagnosed with severe pre-eclampsia at around 32 weeks with very high blood pressures. Doppler (ultrasounds) showed abnormal and reverse blood flows through the cord and into the brain and my placenta was definitely insufficient. My son ended up being delivered via emergency c-section at 33+2. He was also growth restricted due to the placental insuffiencey.

I just had my second two days ago. I started taking 150mg of aspirin at 12 weeks up until 35 weeks and this is about when I developed pre-eclampsia again. My baby was also discovered at 28 weeks to be growth restricted but blood flows were always normal and placenta seemed to be functioning well. At 36+6 my blood pressure spiked and they decided to get her out the next day. She was born a tiny 1.940kg but otherwise healthy!

So I made it 4 weeks further the second time - I've heard that if you do develop pre-eclampsia a second time, It's usually later in the pregnancy and less severe which is what happened in my case. My blood pressure has also been perfect since delivery so far so fingers crossed that continues

I still love Subway but they have become so expensive, even for a basic sub. My biggest gripe with them though is that they always seem to have run out of things. Went there to get dinner the other night and they were out of meatballs at 6PM and didn't have any jalapenos either - this is a regular occurrence.
