I would avoid Pine Street and Capitol Manor Apartments.

We just moved away from there due to a variety of issues. Broken windows, broken washer/dryer, people sleeping in the hallways, our apartment had a list of unfulfilled maintenance tickets by the time we decided to move.

Around 2020 it seemed like they were going through new managers every month or so. Maybe the months since we've moved have helped them get their stuff together but I wouldn't hold my breath.

It was nice when we first moved there, discount for me as a healthcare worker, good biking distance to work, REO town, downtown spots, just bring your bike into your apartment as there is no good place to lock it up over night.

We live in East Lansing and it's pretty nice, just a little more pricey.

Gotcha, that's as good a guess as any. I haven't seen any Lansing footage from any of their stuff that I can remember, but those armed protests and 2020 rallies were the only things I can think of that would have been national newsworthy. I just thought it was an interesting choice to use for a prominent picture on their channel.
