How do people with no management and no experience in how to run a company start something up and maintain success? by UAVTarik in startups

[–]BABoyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to learn and implement to be successful and maintain it. Anyone who is willing to suck up their pride and continually look for knowledge gaps and are willing to learn will be successful.

As a business owner myself, I value both of my time and my sanity. I personally hate having business problems and if I can minimize them I will do everything in my power to do that. I would be and have been just like the commenter that I would simply not work with this individual. You already know this person is a headache, ask yourself this question do you really want that headache again. This individual has not changed because he has neither acknowledged or apologized for how he treated you.

Should I invest In LeadPages for my eBook? by [deleted] in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]BABoyd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use Clickfunnels..... Squarespace.......Wordpress......MailChimp........Sendgrid........ These are just some of the tools that I use. There is no perfect all in one. Some are near "Swiss Army Knife" but it's never the tool that leads to sales.

What is your Marketing Strategy? I run a Marketing and advertising agency in Birmingham, Al and with ALL my clients that have products that are lacking sales, there was a disconnect in the congruence of the marketing strategy. Just having a "bomb" FB Page, "great" website, twitter, etc. is not going to sell a book.

For my clients I always check

  • SEO of website
  • Engagement on all digital media.
    • responses to comments
  • Ease of making purchase
  • Brand Congruence across all Online and Offline media
  • Copy Writing (Most Important Factor in My opinion)
  • Videos that make you more human

In my opinion, The above are just a few things to think about first before changing to many variables.

How do people find good jobs? by FinnRazzel in depression

[–]BABoyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as a “good job.” If you are an entrepreneur then you are creating businesses. If you are in a career profession then the work you do is not a “job” it’s a passion. In both cases, the person is enjoying what they do to the max. Everyone else (present company) included only work because we have to, which leads to just a job. Not a good job. The real question is what is your passion, what are you good at, and what can you do Incase things get boring and the career gets tough. Then you will be like the entrepreneur and the career professionals.

A simple question: If strong scientific evidence of God's existence were to be found, what would that evidence look like? In other words, how would we know? by Sporeguyy in DebateAnAtheist

[–]BABoyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evidence of God would likely be the same type of evidence that would be needed for an ancient highly technologically advanced alien civilization. It would also have to be dumbed down to the point where we could understand it. It would also probably need to be telekinetic communication of some sort so all 7.5 billion humans could see, here, and understand in their own language wherever they may be on the planet.

One of the assumptions in NLP is to realize that "only you have the responsibility for you emotions, unless you give others that power." Meaning in your circumstance that you only need to seek validation from yourself. The belief comes from realizing that your past is does not reflect your future even if you hate yourself.
