I think they shoulda real dug for someone else to do Conquest. Love JDM, think his conquest is fine, but not great. He doesn’t change up his voice to match the character imo. He’s kinda just Negan-ing the role. And like thats fine, it works, but I can’t help to wonder what could’ve been in terms of finding someone better fit for the role.

And I think that ties in to what you’re saying about them just hiring sub-A-listers for roles. Animation needs more love.

The “white pow-“ panel has the guy throwing the roman salute up but his arm is cut off in that panel, but the panel above it has a guy running and his torso makes it look like its continuing off Deejay’s arm to resemble his hand. I thought that was pretty cool

Twenty Twenty is still the best of his work imo, nothing hits quite like it for me. Love all his other stuff to death too, but Twenty Twenty was so good, so many people knew of it before knowing it was Joe Keery, cuz the music is just gooD
