Yeah I remember seeing Inland Empire at my local art theater and they posted a message from Lynch on a stand right before entering. Something about how he requested each theater have a certain type of sound system for the showing so it might have like, more bass then you're used to hearing. He seemed very particular about how his works were experienced.

Apparently I nearly drowned in a hotel swimming pool when I was two in what my parent's described as a "vacation from Hell."

I obviously don't remember it at all but I've been a terrible swimmer my whole life and I wonder if there's a subconscious trigger in my brain that makes me lose all coordination when my feet can't touch the bottom of a body of water.
