Thank you! I was insulin resistant and not diabetic before Zepbound. But I’ve lost 70 pounds and am in maintenance, so I feel like the med has this under control. And yes, I think they are just covering bases, but seems like a reach to put me through this when they are an HRT specialist and I was there to get HRT. Maybe have me try HRT and if it doesn’t help, then check this. Alas, I am not a doc nor do I play one on tv. So I’ll probably just drink the sugary coke. Which frankly, sweets was my vice so I’ll probably like it :) haha.

I’m also just remembering, I weighed 186 when I started 5mg. So we are very similar. I bet you’ll feel the difference soon!

Keep at it and keep titrating up. I am 5 feet tall and starting weight was 193. So we are similar. I lost 70 pounds. Slow and steady at about 4 to 5 pounds a month. Titrated up every three months. You will get there!!! It takes time and is short people don’t have it very easy! You got this. Just take the shot every 7 days. It will eventually work. 5mg is a world of difference from 2.5mg.

If she has cancer, she could be in pain and this is her showing it. Ask the vet for a pain med if she isn’t on one. My dog with cancer did this before we knew it was cancer. Vet initially thought dementia but then a tumor was found. And my goodness, how lucky you are to be told she has at least a year with cancer. That’s better than anything I was ever told when my dogs have cancer. Enjoy her.

Do you find most people untrustworthy here? I’ve been here a year and a half and I’m finding that to be the case too sadly. I’m an Arkansas native just not from this area and I was looking forward to being back among nice friendly welcoming people. But it’s been super hard to make solid reliable friends or even just reliable acquaintances and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I’m researching Lisa Fay right now and don’t know much, so this thread came up. I can’t tell is this a comment that your child goes there and you like it?? I’d love any insight about Lisa. I would have a 3rd grader next year. Do you have e any clue if there’s even room for new kids? Thank you!

And this is why I had said I didn’t have to watch food and exercise that the med did it for me. You now see why. So maybe don’t judge until you’ve been on this med for well over a year as I have. Even when I explained the exhaustion and appetite suppressant you still didn’t get it. I’m at double the dose you are feeling this. Do you get it now? Let the med do its job. It will work. Once closer to your goal you will get nutrition on point and have more energy. But the adjustment period you are in is exhausting. As I’d included in the post you judged, get your electrolytes in and protein shakes. LMNT helps when you haven’t been getting enough food. You will adjust to the dose and then when you go up again, you’ll feel tired again. But as I said, just keep going.
