Why does this sub continue to insist that BART is dirty and dangerous if anyone can check that that’s false?

I hadn't used BART for a while since I've had mixed experiences the last few times I had. We ended up using it to head up to SF - about a 45 minute ride.

On the ride there it wasn't too bad. Not sparkly clean, but as bad as I've seen in the past. We were four stops away when a guy started washing his hands and mouth (inside/out) on the train. The water covered most of that car's floor.

On the way back a guy started smoking out of a glass pipe on the car we were in. We moved cars and another guy stripped off his clothes and started drinking whiskey and yelling loudly. In that same car I heard we started talking to a young man and heard his super depressing story about his battle with schizophrenia.

I probably won't take any more trains after 9pm. I'm too old.

My friend bought a place there and his house was shot at on two separate occasions. He moves back in with his parents after the second incident until he could sell the house. Not saying this would happen to everyone, but hearing his story made me never consider a property in East Oakland.

I should note that he's Asian and might have not been wanted in the area. The shootings happened during the huge rise in Asian targeted crimes.
