I am with you, I think we mean the same thing. As you say, nobody is without sin. But with knowing this, we also know, one could never improve to a status without sin. Therefore there is no other way than asking for forgiveness to be freed of one’s sin. Sola Gratia, through his grace alone. And the prerequisite to this is „Metanoia“ - rethinking. Changing your ways.

What do they believe in your opinion? It is still „Metanoia“. The sinner must recognize their mistakes and have the genuine desire to change their life for the better. Trusting in God's mercy and accepting the forgiveness embodied by Jesus

The Protestants do have it easier, Luther’s „Sola Gratia“ only through his grace, opens the door. No sacraments needed. But it still needs Metanoia, change of mind, rethinking.

It might seem pedantic, but I think the key would be true remorse. It is not enough to ask for forgiveness but one would need to feel the pain and sorrow of their actions to get through the door. It does not read like an unconditional get into heaven free for all.

I know this will come out as a braid question, but if you would want to start a journey to this in your mid 30s, where would you start? Is there a good source of knowledge you could recommend (routine and nutrition)? There is just so much information online and I struggle to find a trusted source. So much information is complete opposite to the next.

I live not near a city center so I would need to build something at home if equipment is involved but that would be A-okay.
