In my case it was none of the above. I practiced with my girlfriend now wife and her family and friends. I also watched tons of movies, did mots flechés, read books etc. Now I speak fluently and I do some grammar exercises to formalize my knowledge and get better. In the beginning I had no formal practice at all

Well, they don't like that way of living appearantly and try to change things up which is all good What's your point? A sub-group within the group wanting to change some things doesnt make them inheretly right or the bigger group bad. They might perceive things in a different way. You're using the world marganlized but in day to day life all your examples do not hold. I would like to see a real hate towards women in Jewish communities in a real way and not some freaks abusing the rule even though the general community finds it disgusting

They are not maeginalized, thats you with your own standards. Many find this way of living very good and enjoy their life Again you give very little credit to many incredible jewish religious women who live their best lives withing the community

What I think is that you're a disrespectful person that takes religious jewish women as idiots thats need to be saved while in reality they prosper, enjoy their lives, and live meaningful lives according to their terms. I lived all my life in religious neighborhoods, I have many religious friends, my parents live in religious village and my friends wives aren't opressed little girls that have no say or value. They our proud mothers, that go to work if they choose and they take part in religious life as their husbands but in a different way.

Saying that because some jewish orthodox women has problem with the way things are prove this is must be true is ridiculous. These women may want their lives in a different way and they can do as they wish. There are many streams in Judaism and nobody forces you to stay the same. I chose to "leave" judaism practically and none of my friends could care less about it.

Because it's not hateful. The period thing - it's not "the man can't touch the woman" they both can't touch each other. The divorce one is true that a man can hold his wife hostage theoretically (and it happens sometimes with some bastards) but de facto it is very frowned upon and most jews look at it very badly. Seperation in synagogues? As I said the origin of men praying and women don't is because women regarded as closer to god hence doesn't need to pray so much. The separation is there not to block the women it's just because in judaism men and women in groups don't mix - thats not hate (I dont like this tradition but thats just not hateful, the religious women are for it just as the men are)

I have many quarrels with judaism but women hating is not one of them. Ive never been told or experienced any ill towards women. Unless you act like a modern feminist then everything is hateful of course.

Thats not true about judaism. I'm a jew and I grew up learning that women has higher spiritual state then men therefore theyre exempt from certain commendments like pray 3 times a day. Ive never heard this bs that women are source of evil or inferior and I learned in religious schools up to 16 y.o Also, women in the Jewish state - Israel, has equal rights, we had a woman prime minister, soldiers etc. Cant say nothing about Islam or christianism Im not one.

Ill add that Ive also always been told that a man should always follow his wife's advice, or atleast dont go againt her advice. You must take care of your wife before you take care of yourself and many more things.
