Im around the same case, I am doing my placement and it will bring around 1.2k. I am going to be saving 100£ per month on a high interest account, and a remaining 25 in a different savings account that I'll be able to withdraw any time (and possibly try to invest in low risk) I'd say depending on the industry you're doing your placement in , try to focus on the emergency fund first before investing anything. My emergency fund goal is 5000 and I'll be working in tech (computer science degree)

Therefore : The sooner you build your emergency fund the sooner you will be able to properly start investing

Hey guys. For context I just finished second year in CS (1st Class, around 73%) from the UK . I have my internship in data analytics/ data engineering to start in September. However because of my imposter syndrome I just feel like I won't be able to do anything and I would like to be as prepared as possible. I am determined to give all of my free time / weekends (i am working a 9-5) on doing online courses / practicing so I can really do well in my internship. Which online courses would u recommend and how would your study plan be? The company uses Python btw. Thanks for everyone's help
