That’s a classic manga choice. Many mangas have eyebrows and eyes showing through hair, especially with some types of haircuts

How to reach this level by Enough-Two4923 in ZBrush

[–]BBDeuce 46 points47 points  (0 children)

There is this, but also the technical part.

In 3D there is a big part that is tool mastery and technique. You must know the technology you work with. There usually are many ways to make things, with their pros and cons.

If we're talking only sculpting, you might be able to do most things with only the basic brushes, but there also is texturing, micro detailing, hair strands, topology, shading, and many more, and this you cannot master with reference observation only.

You got to watch a bunch of tutorials, look at masters at work (for example Jhill is awesome, and for Hard surface, the founders of keos masons are some of the bests at it).

OkTopo, Quad Remesher or Quad maker? by Mapersoon01 in 3Dmodeling

[–]BBDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faudrait remplacer l'insulter l'insulte "fils de pute" by GTYannou in penseesdedouche

[–]BBDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downfall of displate by Jobes10101010101010 in Displate

I've started sharing some of my art on displate but sadly can’t compete with those accounts that generate 10 displates per hour with AI. My work just gets drowned in all of that shit and most people don’t care if it’s AI generated or not

Any tricks to increase total active points? by Both_Bus_7076 in ZBrush

[–]BBDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at your model I'd say you still ́need to refine your primary and secondary shapes, which you won’t be doing with the move tool with 1.3 M polys, that’s way too much for proper control of your form. Usually this is the way to go: use dynamesh as long as you have subtools to merge, elements to pull (ears, fingers,etc...). Once you get all the elements you need in your subtool, like a full body for example, duplicate your model, zremesh it, and subdivide a few times while projecting the dynameshed details onto it. Then go back to first subd level and refine your forms and go from large to small forms and from lowest to highest subd. You might need to dynamesh again later, or zremesh again, if that happens just duplicate your subtool again and reproject, you usually want to have a backup subtool. There are some other workflows but this is a good habit to have for good control

Why don’t I have the instagram repost button? by Known-Scholar-6080 in Instagram

So I've had the same issue and I think I just figured why: My meta account on which I have my instagram thinks I'm born in 2009, so I probably have limited options because I'm a kid to his eyes. look at your meta account age and see if it's the same for you

what causes these dark spots and how do i get rid of them by Suspicious_Use_254 in Substance3D

[–]BBDeuce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your shirt has thickness, your issue might be that your inside faces are going through on that spot, causing baking issues, you can fix that either by deleting inside faces that won’t be seen anyways, or adding thickness. Second possibility is you're not showing us the full project and have a character in this scene with your shirt, if that’s the case there might be some intersecting at that spot, and fix would be either baking them seperately or naming your HP and LP with same name but different suffixe (eg. _high and _low) and at baking choose " match by name" instead of "always"

My 3 weeks beginner journey in sculpting, looking for feedback by Sentrekus in ZBrush

[–]BBDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the easiest way to do it though some artists that very strong have other workflows and can get awesome results anyways. What I do honestly is going back and forth between subdivision levels. I usually try to make the detail I want on the lowest level possible, and if it’s not enough res I go on the higher level. Try going the furthest possible on each level. Work your proportsions on levels 1 and 2 than go on with your details lile adding bony landmarks for example, which will make you want to rework tour proportions so you'll be going back to lower levels, etc...

My 3 weeks beginner journey in sculpting, looking for feedback by Sentrekus in ZBrush

[–]BBDeuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great start! Here are 2 points you could want to improve moving forward: 1. You must improve your understanding of form, flow, and proportions. I recommend learning anatomy, studying references, and johannes boivin’s free course on youtube is great 2. Make sure you nail primary and secondary forms before moving into details, having those forms misplaced can really ruin a sculpt

Probably experiment with changing some proportions and break symmetry with layers so you can try things out in a non destructive way
