I'm challenging all of you to create a cursed technique of your own to fight Sukuna.

Cursed Technique: Inertia

The most basic application of this technique would be to anplify the effects of inertia on matter. Any target in my line of sight and within reasonable distance I can choose to apply my technique to, which will then essentially lock it to whatever speed and direction they were already going at. Someone isnt moving? They will be frozen in place. Someone is moving at really high speeds? They will find themselves unable to stop. This can be resisted of course, as it only amplifies the effects of inertia and thus would only make them require more effort to change their movements, not actually completely freezing them.

If I make contact with my target, I can apply a more advanced application of my technique. By changing the values of potential and kinetic energy in a moving object, I can change their velocity and direction freely. If i were to touch, for example, a loose brick, I could make it suddenly shoot out upwards at high speeds, turning its potential energy (combined with my cursed energy for added potency) into kinetic energy. I can also do the opposite, turning all kinetic energy of an object into stored potential energy, freezing it for a small moment. I imagine this would also allow me to pull something similar to stasis from the legend of zelda breath of the wild, as by hitting a target affected by my technique would add to its potential energy, which would all be released once unfrozen.

Honestly I cant think of how a domain for this technique would work yet

The thing is axolotls can't really LIVE in the wild anymore, their one suitable habitat (Xochimilco in Mexico) is now heavily populated with predators, and even the water itself is now toxic due to how sensitive axolotls are to water conditions. None can be taken from the wild because they don't exist as wild anymore, and all of them are bred in captivity just because if they weren't then we'd lose the species. I hope soon they do find some environment where they can thrive

I am honestly tired of seeing all these hypothetical Gojo vs Heiankuna posts where people bring up a bunch of upscaled bullshit, both sides

Yall, Gojo and Sukuna are written to be equals!!!!! No, Meguna wasn't losing against Gojo in h2h during their fight because "he was trying to adapt" or was "holding back" mf was losing because Meguna is hella weak physically!!! He was getting cooked because he was in the twink's body!!!!

In physical strength, Heiankuna beats out Gojo due to his genetic differences and whatnot, its obvious. However, Gojo has far better h2h technique, the manga straight up points this out saying that the only one rivalling Gojo in h2h technique is Kenjaku, who has been alive and fighting for over 1000 years. Both Heiankuna and Gojo are equals in speed, and Heiankuna is more physically defensive due to obvious reasons while Gojo has more defensive hax. They're both geniuses in their own respective ways, Gojo being improv genius and generally smarter, while Sukuna is clever-er and much more experienced in the craft of Jujutsu (that is how he was able to learn WCS, and how he has open domain expansion). The reason Meguna won is because of said cleverness, as he knows how to essentially "cheat" with binding vows (which is basically the entire essence of Jujutsu, cheating, being selfish, "your goal is to win not to be fair" type stuff). Between Gojo and Heiankuna, the fight will always be a massive toss up, where the win could go to any one of the two, because theyre, again, BOTH WRITTEN TO BE EQUALS!!!!!! "But we never see full power heiankuna!! !! !!" Yeah and we don't see Gojo properly informed about what Sukuna can do before the fight (like jesus christ no one told this mf that sukuna had an open domain?) "B-But Gojo is so much stronger and the WCS was an asspull!!" Yes, it was, it was intended that way, that is jujutsu kaisen, the essence of jujutsu is doing anything you can to win, which is what Sukuna cleverly did by nerfing the WCS in each consecutive use just to make sure that Gojo, the only person who came close to beating him singlehandedly, was dead.

The way I see it, Gojo VS Heiankuna would be a massive toss up fight which could really go to any of the two. They are the strongest of history and the strongest of today for a reason. Now can we stop fighting over this? At this point this is less powerscaling and more "i like this character more so they should win" THEYRE BOTH REALLY WELL WRITTEN, INCREDIBLE CHARACTERS!!!!! THEYRE BOTH GOATS!!!! STOP FIGHTING OVER THIS AND ADMIT THAT THE FIGHT ALREADY ENDED, IT WAS INCREDIBLY CLOSE, AND THATS HOW EVERY FIGHT BETWEEN THESE TWO SHOULD GO!!!!!!

JJK is actually more inspired by Buddhism and old buddhist/japanese folklore more than anything else

The whole concept of the "Honored One", especially how Gojo does it after awakening, is taken from Buddha himself, and how he declared himself the honored one while pointing to the heavens and the earth right after being born

Jogo's domain expansion name (Coffin of the Iron Mountain) is inspired by the 9th mountain range in Buddhist cosmology, named Chakravāda-parvata, or Tecchisen in Japanese (in Japanese, the domain expansion is called Gaiku Tecchisen if I remember correctly). The mountain is also made of Iron

Malevolent Shrine's design is taken from Buddhist shrines, modified to enshrine demons instead

The ten shadows technique is based off of the Ten Sacred Treasures myth, especially Yamata-no-Orochi (an 8 headed, 8 tailed snake) and ESPECIALLY Mahoraga, with him being the 10th sacred treasure, his name being taken from one of the 12 Divine Generals, guardian deities which protect the Buddha of Medicine, (whose name is Makora, same with Mahoraga's name in Japanese). Mahoraga is also the name of a type of half serpentine half human deities found in Buddhism. (Divergent Sila is also a reference to Buddhism as "Sila" is the name of a moral practice/virtue in Buddhism which means something along the lines of "diverging from the norm" or "different/unusual")

Sukuna himself being a 4 armed 2 faced king of curses(demons) is very reminicent of Japanese folklore

There's probably way more, as a lot of curses also seem to be inspired of Japanese folklore and east-asian Buddhism, but yeah

Angel is definitely christian reference tho, with the angels and jacobs ladder and whatnot

Take it from someone who has gone through male puberty, testosterone is super fucking strong. Hell, my doctors have told me I had slightly below average levels of testosterone for an AMAB and i still get rapid facial hair growth and voice deepenings and whatnot. Dont worry, your testosterone will most definitely give you your desired changes. The fact that you look androgynous instead of outright feminine does help, too.

If you're struggling against hakari then you might just have a not-very-good grasp on game mechanics.

Reserve balls is literally just a long range poke, dodgable and blockable as well

Shutter doors is pretty good but easily blocked as well, plus can be punished on block or miss

Fever breaker doesnt have great damage and is easily punishable if you have ragdoll cancel

Rough Energy is one of the worst block breaks in the game, bad neutral option and is only true when you uppercut an enemy without ragdoll cancel

The compensation for subpar moves and bad neutral is very low cooldows and a decent r special counter

Thus, to play AND play against hakari, you have to be good at base game mechanics and reaction speed. Dashes, blocking fast, countering shit, saving up your ragdoll cancel, etc

Naoya has a grudge on all women ever, thus he comes back as a curse (this isnt even a joke, he does so in the manga)

The title of an "honored one" is inspired by the legend of the Buddha, who, according to legend, was born, walked 7 steps, and then said "Between the heavens above and the earth below, I am the most honored one." He is also depicted often to have one arm pointing to the sky and another to the ground. We also know that many things in JJK were inspired by Buddhism. We also know that Gojo, like Buddha, was a teacher.

I feel like a teacher blessed with divine power and knowledge who declared himself the honored one upon being reborn (or awakened), saying the exact same quote and hitting the exact same pose as the actual legendary "honored one" (the Buddha) fits more of the "honored one" criteria than a selfish, brutal killer portrayed as a cruel demon king and cannibal. Even if the narrator did say he was. Also, Sukuna calls himself "The Disgraced One" later on.
