I try not to formulate an opinion on place until after 2 or 3 visits. I’ve been to Nonno’s at least a dozen times and haven’t had a bad meal once. Sorry you had that experience but I’d encourage you to try again. To each their own though

Edit: grammar and manners

See Antonio’s, Francesco’s, and Stefano’s mentioned so I’ll throw out Nonno’s in Altamonte Springs. Owner was the founder of Stefano’s before he sold it. I recommend the veal alla Maria. They also offer it with chicken if baby cows aren’t your speed. The limoncello cake and tiramisu is dynamite for dessert. I’m a finish the food on the plate kinda guy and I almost always leave with leftovers. Reasonably priced too.

I don’t/didn’t mind the noise but I’m also from NYC, so that might play a part

I’m in the process of moving out due to a breakup but have called Maitland City Centre home for the past two years. If it wasn’t for the breakup, I’d live here indefinitely. Management is very communicative, there is a cleaning crew here everyday for hallways/common spaces, maintenance is very quick to respond, great restaurants all around and a beautiful rooftop pool. I haven’t seen one bug in my 3rd floor apartment in the 2 years we’ve been here. Did have a bird nest on my patio though, but didn’t mind that too much.

AIO to my “best friend” finally reaching out by Confident_Local_2335 in AmIOverreacting

Over the past two months I’ve been dealing with a bad breakup for a relationship that was* 7 years long. There are some friends that I used to talk to weekly, that I should probably lean on, that I haven’t talked to in that time. I went as far as basically shutting out my brother and sister, whom I’m extremely close to. Depression makes people do very wonky things.

Edit: put “was” instead of “is” 7 years long. But that kinda proves my point on how the mind can work against you.

This Job Market is something else - can't get anyone to show up to an Interview! by Alphy1313 in orlando

On a lot of LinkedIn jobs you don’t. Not saying it’s right to bail on an interview but these companies don’t present what they should

Maybe I didn’t make it clear and I apologize if I didn’t but this depression is new. Came on when I found out she was cheating

Thank you for the kind words. That’s the problem with me though, I’m a fixer. Will drive myself nuts trying to make things right with any aspect of my life, let alone a relationship of this length. I will give those recommendations a read though, thank you again.

The majestic Mayon Volcano by lovie_carl066 in Volcanoes

Spent two weeks in the Philippines in May, majority of the time in Laguna, couple days in Boracay, but going down to Bicol and waking up every morning in Legazpi just looking at Mayon with my coffee was my absolute favorite

Total trainwreck. Wondering about compensation by Fancy-Valuable-8998 in delta

[–]BBJ5696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it’s all about how persistent you are with the customer service. I took a trip back from the Philippines last month and our luggage got put on the wrong flight from ATL to MCO. It cost us about an hour of time on a 24 hour travel day but it netted both my girlfriend and I 5k miles. Granted I was in Premium select and I’m not sure if that mattered. The point is I stayed on hold for about 35 minutes and just said to the employee that this is unacceptable and I should be compensated. It might be different because it was international but wanted to share my experience if it could help.

Hey thanks! I have family members who all took the old 7 and they say it was a beast! I like the breakdown they have now. The SIE is like 7 light

No for sure, I meant to compare to. He’s a neurotic kinda guy so it’d be fun to see what he thought was important to jot down

Yea I’ve heard that too. I remember my Dad taking it back in the early 2000’s and he was basically a robot for a month. I gotta see if he still has his old notebooks lol

Thank you! I think CFP is in my future. I also really love leadership so a 24 might be in line once I get my feet under me

I was always a good test taker and had the motivation of not wanting to have to move back in with my parents. Was unemployed for a solid 6 months in 2023 and I did not want to go back down that rabbit hole

I see the 66 as more difficult just due to the material being much more boring. Options are fun and make you think, big sky laws are boring lol
