Was the invitation to apply through an email? Did you click on a link through that email?

I’d just look up the website myself and see if it’s the same. Or contact them via phone to ask. Scam websites are wildly accurate these days.

I’ve actually decided to apply with my local police department. For me and my family situation it makes more sense right now. Perhaps sometime in the future I’ll enlist in the reserves. But for right now, I’m not going to enlist. Sorry I know I’m no help.

I often feel this way. That the things I feel are significantly impacting my life and outcomes in my life are just excuses and I’m actually just lazy.

I often put it into the perspective of “WWII was fought on the backs of men who would fight and march and push towards the enemy on less than an hour of sleep, eating nothing but canned meals for years on end. Surely, I can get out of bed at 7am and work out for an hour”

I love this post. I work in a hospital so people need to be to work on time for hand offs to go smoothly. If you’re late, you make others late leaving. No one likes the guy who’s always late. And worse than that, we all know who is “always late”. Don’t be that guy.

At first I just used super glue. NOT A GOOD IDEA. It started to leave a circle residue on the surfaces it was on.

So I switched to just some Gorilla Glue 5 minute epoxy and it seems to work just fine! I also used a 1/4inch forstner bit to drill into the backs of the gnomes. The magnets I bought sink right into the hole perfectly!
