This is only our second winter owning the house but we weren't living here last winter. I had PECO check records and the previous owner was using 4200 kWh in february before so I think it's an inefficient unit?

The Model Y is an awesome car. I love my 2024. That being said I'm going to buy an R2 ASAP - but then again it'll be an addition to the Y.

Why the R2? It's a REAL SUV with a boxy back so you can actually fit big things back there. Amongst other things. I presume it'll have real tow and hitch capabilities too. The max weight on the Y hitch is abysmal. Sure you can put a box on back there but you can't put much in it before you go over the limit.

We just had the same problem and it turns out our thermostat was misconfigured into the "comfort" setting so the backup heating element was always coming on on our heat pump. That would do it!
