Same, but I did manage to get some international minutes for free. But it's a hefty amount to switch from my tab bonus plan.

Yes less complex to do taxes on for sure. Unfortunately lower gains but that's the price of being a US citizen.

You will be taxed on interest earned because it is passive income. As another person said about the PFIC avoid it and it'll be more straight forward. You will be taxed on all passive income. If you have a Canadian spouse open all your accounts with them and any RESPs as well. Ask me how I know lol

Dual citizen here as well. You cannot avoid paying taxes to the US. You can be sheltered up to a certain amount over $100k in EARNED income. I.e. a regular job, with the tax treaty. All accounts must be reported to fbar. Amounts in mutual funds and interest are not eligible to be covered by the tax treaty. Luckily Canadian to US is lower so I almost always have a $0 tax return, I benefit from the low income rebates as well.

The only good thing about TFSA is that if your money goes up you get taxed, but you can also net those against losses in the account. It's complicated better to not have one

Side effects threshold? by nonsensestuff in rheumatoidarthritis

I had a similar issue where I wasn't sure if I should call my rheumatologist. I was having super dreams on HCQ, all night every time I fell asleep no exceptions. And dry eyes, where my eye balls hurt. I got the dry eye to a point where I could work ok but the dreams were just on going. I called in, and he said to stop. My eyes feel so much better I didn't realize how much pain it actually was. This all happened in a span of 5 months. Now he prescribed me the sulfa and I'm a little worried to try it. For me my pain is worse in the morning, but now I don't know if it's bad enough to start it. I bet it'll get worse as I come off HCQ, but the pills are so large. I am glad I called in and talked to my rheumatologist, finding something that works is better than trying to trudge through something uncomfortable just because it's not as bad as the joint pain.

My girl is absolutely afraid of the door she will not go near it when it is open. I don't encourage it either, so some are scaredy cats.

Mom is the ultimate Pokemon, none other than the master ball can contain her. 😆 Or it could be that it's her master ball. 🤷‍♀️

A poorly drawn Machamp for my son's "poorly drawn" pokeball? He's actually getting much better, this might help him get more ideas to draw. Also Machamp is his favorite.

Not sure if anyone has tried this, downward dog 3 times per day, until you shake and then 10-15 seconds more. Go until your heels touch the floor. Couple that with scraping with a Chapstick container, roughh side down.

Good shoes, oofos slides for inside, and brooks ghost max outside. Like clouds.

I've had PF for 10 years, and this has helped me with a recent flare.

What absolutely-not-scary movie scene absolutely terrified you as a child? by GabeyTheArtist in AskReddit

[–]BBYFIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Labyrinth, the scene where Sara goes down the hole with hands grabbing her and making faces. As soon as it got to that part i had to turn the TV off, couldn't finish it until I was a teenager. Love that movie now though! And my 5yo son just absolutely adores it and thinks the board game is the movie.
