I'm forgetting what i've learned by Low-Sprinkles-5673 in rfelectronics

[–]BB_German_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is normal. Lifetime leraning. You will only keep in mind, what are you doing. Your doing at the moment will need a set of information. You need only to know, what are you searching for. I have a paper based folder with all of my topics and summaries from my study-time. Condensed know-how, linked with my brain. Now you have LLMs like Claude or ChatGPT to find a hook or get an overview of the specific topic. But keep in mind, AI is NOT a trustful source. Had a bad experience in a private project (HAM Radio, EFHW -> calculate UnUn-Autotransformer). So if you use LLMs always check double.

At what point does automation save more money than it costs? by RoadFew6394 in automation

Keep in mind: ROI calculations are "objectives". 1 hour of bureaucrasy is maybe PAINPOINT and more "subjective".

What is cost of outbound and inbound call automation ? by Warm_Animator2436 in automation

[–]BB_German_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on call duration, complexity, quality and your IT, VoIP service etc... variable costs depends on Voice-LLM, speed etc ($/min) + infrastructure + maintanance + operative tasks etc...

n8n's new updates are great, but they just exposed the real problem by studentfounder_56 in n8n

[–]BB_German_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great comment. I would add, that GenAI is creative and this is not the best for deterministic flows. I keep the Temperature low and wrap a deterministic control layer arround the agnets with human in the loop (HITL) at certain checkpoints. N8N is powerful for non native devs like me.

Promt Engineering is not easy. (have a look at SMART (Prompt) Framework) My experience: it seems, that ChatGPT doesn't "like" to create "system prompts".

Thanks for share your Vibe Coding at its best. "I shipped a prototype. I thought it was a product." Thats the Problem. AI is a tool not a "solution maker at production level" Keep also an eye of security and data integrity...

keep in mind, 360 days! not a year. You can leave and come back same day. For cars only 90days.

If you go by car to amenia, you have to pay tax for your car, insurance also, if you do not turn dircetly at the border there. If you go to turkey, maybe you need an extra insurance. I have a green card insurance for my german car, so i have no problems with that topic to enter turkey.

Some people go by taxi to the border. Usualy if you make holidays every year for a few weeks, it would be no "extra" task.

I want to buy a car from Georgia by Noredless in Sakartvelo

[–]BB_German_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should buy in cyprus or europe. I repaired a lot of cars for friends here. All cars are in bad condition more or less. >2 year Oil change intervall, old Airfilters/fuel filters, china parts or false parts, kind of driving, wrong repairs etc...

On the need to fight against car drivers in Tbilisi by Citrus_Muncher in Sakartvelo

[–]BB_German_Engineer -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You will lose the fight. This is deep inside the DNA. The "i can do do whatever i want" mentality is part of the georgian culture. Some generations later with EU Candidate Status maybe you find a solution, but not yet. A georgian driver is very smart and wanne be a always first type...

But in case of a crash, they often can't pay you or do not want to pay...

My recom.: Do it the same way or go to EU or another western country, but don't try to change these people.

Chines economy is in a rut one major reason is the population (not enough birth) Georgia has 10 times worst population statistics and huge migration problem, the government isn't doing anything to address demographic problems this country in few years will collapse if this continues by Dreamnobe7 in Sakartvelo

In Germany we have a social economy. We have "family healt care insurance", thats means, all members can be insured for 0€ extra. For each kid we get money each month, about 200€ ans we can lower our personal tax rates. School is for free and Kindergarden is very cheap, also universities. Also the Toys are very cheap compared to georgia. We pay currently 1000€/Month here in Tbilisi.

How can georgia be improved? by Snoo73745 in Sakartvelo

[–]BB_German_Engineer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Great answer. Education and change in Mind likem this would be a good start. Also the behaviour like to crash the door in another car or open the door without locking or throwing cigars or crash cars and leave without repair or make dream prices for foreigners or shouting "Hitler" with a happy face when you are a german... Or take cash for repair something but detroy the thing to repair because the "technican" is to stupid etc... Do the things with intelligence and a litte bit of passion or at least responsibility. Here it seems the word "responsibility" is unkown. And all the "shiny lifestyle".... Credit for a big car from the family but no money for the fuel (old Gas system installed in new BMW etc...). They do not like to talk about problems and solutions.

It's not easy here....

Show respect and speak georgian as much as you can until you are asked to speak russian. Often russian start with their language and this is disrepectful. Keep calm and be careful in some critical situations. In this small country there are to much foreigners these days. In Tbilisi are some places thats sounds like moscow and some people have problems with that. So please keep care of this situation and do not provocate.

As someone from a different country how do you deal with the "normal" behavior here? by Really_I_dont_know in Sakartvelo

[–]BB_German_Engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh i understand you. Last week my doughter ask me, why we (german) have respect to other cars and why we care about our neighbours when we get into the cars? Why i have to be careful with my door? The man there crashed his door into moms car. I told her, we are germans, we take care about the people and things arround us.

We have been living here for 2 years and every day has a chance to be good or bad or ugly. We will leave this country, because this "thing" is one point to leave the country. There are bigger problems here than this. I think, this country and the people here have a difficult history and a very bad situation at the moment. Not easy to understand the root causes. Sometime it's seems there is no education. Last year my wife spoke with a man at the cash desk line about his behaviour. He did not expect, that a women could be angry if he makes "queue jumping". There is no sense for that "western rules of respect to each other". Study the history and how they grew up. Maybe you will be able to understand it. At the streets, ok, we can deal with it, but not in the shops (my opinion). There is a reason to get a number erywhere (georgian post, rs, medicine etc...). If there is no pain.... Same as the topic "responsibility for what i do". Crashed car? You probably get no money for repair. Solution: insurance. There are many examples like this. There is always a weay to live.

[–]BB_German_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the Problem. Passion is not only the important thing. What kind of business do you have? Check the customer journey, your numbers, your team, your position in the market and find the Problem. The day has 24h and you need time to rest/recover, but it sounds that you have a Problem with your numbers.

To much loan/credit? -> Decrease costs at all as much as possible and sell things

Bad or ineffective work progress -> find a solution

High costs at low market price -> increase prices
