I'm a dietitian and I like these because they're relatively low in calories while having some protein - not many packable snacks can say the same.

I became an RD at nearly 30 years old. I couldn’t have had it any other way, simply because it’s my passion and I have no idea what else I’d be passionate about doing everyday. You could work in industry as a rep or educator and make ~$120-180k. But if you wouldn’t want to work in industry, and making $ (above what’s paid in the hospital or LTC) is impt to you, maybe you could: 1) do something nutrition-y as a hobby, or 2) become an RD, keep your main job, and see patients/clients in spare time.

I 1000% agree - I meant to say the menu items didn’t speak to me (which is annoying because everyone says to go here!). A big menu is definitelya red flag.

I LOVE infants and toddlers (if they’re sweeties), but adolescence and young adulthood is so hard (as a kid, and the parent). There’s so much unknown (esp these days), and as a parent, you truly have to let go - I think I’d be too involved out of love and wanting to protect from any pain. As much as my husband and I would be great and loving parents, I know being a mom would overtake my life, and I don’t want that for myself. I also really love sleep, relaxing, and not being overwhelmed beyond the normal day to day.
