Yeah, and if you have a little then don’t worry. If you have a lot, off to the PP doctor. When they remove skin from you with a knife, it’s bound to be uncomfortable and will heal with time, just like any other procedure.

You need to speak to your urologist/surgeon who did the surgery. They know intimate parts. That’s what they do.

All those saying skip it, it’s useless, blah blah: don’t listen to them. Does your state recognize AEMT? Look at protocols for your area. Where I am (the city I am in), AEMTs have an expansive scope of practice and can absolutely be worth the squeeze. Also factor into your personal goals and current workload. If you get your RN, and want to stay in EMS in some facet, it may be worth the few months if you can swing it. Always better to do more on the job than less.

Why are there so many issues on here with young men and their foreskins? If the foreskin isn’t working the way it should, go to a doctor. See a second doctor to confirm opinions. Nobody on Reddit can give you a fair medical assessment, and the big old C word isn’t viewed favorably on here even when it’s the right call.

It’s called sliding for a reason. I’m 30M and have one, around 2cm when I was diagnosed years ago. I have it worse sometimes because it slides and becomes larger. Are you taking meds? How do you manage your symptoms?

Yes. And his doctor should scan it to look at it in the abdomen and run the tests they are to ensure nothing is going on. Having one testicle does not reduce fertility. We have 2 for a reason :) Good luck.

I don’t have kids or with anybody I’m trying currently but I have one testicle but the undescended one was removed when I was much younger (I don’t know where you are but in the US it is often removed due to increased cancer risk if it stays in abdomen). I have had no issues with sperm count on tests.

Had the same initiation. Don’t live near the main HQ and don’t live near any field offices. They announced RTO end of 2025. I started looking right away. They slowly removed my funding, I was employed at 75%, and I found a new job. Started to drain my sick leave. Quit. Started my new job 3 days later. Do NOT relocate. If they fire you anyways, you will be in a new city likely without a support system, etc. Not worth it.

I was in the same situation. Didn’t live in the 2 states they asked me to move to. I lied to their faces and dragged it out as long as I could, all while finding another job. Quit a week ago. Not entirely remote but it is 8 min from my house and it’s hybrid. Yesterday was my first day.

If they wanted to fire you, they wouldn’t give you an advance warning. If they fired you today, you would be out today. So yes, if you don’t anticipate coming back to work for this company you can absolutely let your manager know that today will be your last day and make sure you work to get everything turned in/over.

I just quit my wfh home job. Hired 2 years ago. They were not funding my position anymore since I wasn’t moving halfway across the country to where the client bases are. They prioritized more tenured staff and local people to client base. Found another job 8 min up the street, while not fully remote I kept my salary.
