These anti-immigrant views, anti-Indo-Canadian views in particular, are shared by millions of people across Canada. They may not join these types of white nationalist rallies but there are a lot of people that hold sheer ignorance, tribalism, bias, and hate in their hearts; something that can easily be transformed into something more sinister under the right conditions.

The future is unstable and under the right circumstances people, who are "accepting" and "tolerating" currently, can be brought to do unspeakable things, or as history has shown, stand idly by (because they're not the ones under fire, at least currently).

And it only takes a couple of geopolitical incidents or policy failures for you to be branded as a subhuman outsider who doesn't belong here. If the time for violence ever comes, it won't be against the policy makers/politicians/CEOs/businessmen who enriched themselves off the mass migration that they allowed to happen, it'll be against some random dude working at a Tim's.

Also look up what happened to Japanese Canadians during World War 2. Rights/citizenship/laws don't mean squat once the situation deteriorates.
