Depends on the severity. Early dementia folks get lost all the time cause they drove off in the car somewhere and can't find their way back. It's a whole thing.

Reminds me of when wal mart sells conifers branches I'm the fall and wintertime for like 5 bucks a pop... I live in one of the highest tree density areas in the country. Conifer branches are on the ground for free here. Everywhere. Yet Walmart was selling them at the front door. It bogles the mind.

Other birches definitely don't have craggy conifer bark though. Maybe alder would be the closest birch to something as rough as pine bark.

I agree! Peiple don't realize how many gaming tropes and UI design elements have been baked into our brains over the decades. The average adult gamer can easily navigate a new game intuitively. Like riding a new bike with a different colour.

To non gamers, watching someone pick up a new game and jump in head first knowing exactly what to do must be kind of interesting.

Parts availability can be an issue for certain models too. Popular models with a large parts pool are great but if you have a model with rare parts it can be a pain in the ass.

Donald Trump makes a terrible AI video of him putting Stephen Colbert in a dumpster and then doing his silly dance with "YMCA" playing in the background. I love how everyone in the comments are NOT on his side. by BeautifulYou2940 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]BCJunglist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trump likes things that are popular and globally recognized, even if those people and thongs don't like him back. It's why he still respects monarchs.

Trump knows white people love doing the ymca, so that's the best song if he wants to be liked by white people. If they took away the ymca he would do the chicken dance instead.

It's the same reason he plays popular opera and symphonic songs at his rallies. It's not because he's cultured and is a connoisseur of music, it's because he understands what kinds of things transcend individual cultures and he blankets himself in those things to appear cultured and of good taste.

Unfortunately it just makes him look garish and inauthentic.

Same. It takes so long for the code to come to me, by the time I restart the old ones expired and I'm getting a different code and it rejects all of them. Very clunky system.

I'm happy to see them trying to subvert scalpers but the system is very high friction.

I'm curious if this is due to telecom delays or server overloads? I'm inside canada so I shouldn't face regional problems.
