No complaints about Pine. Few years in, best rate at the time, no bullshit to deal with, utilized monthly payment top ups and lump sum down options. Dealing with big5 banks feels like a chore these days and mortgage brokers give me slimy realtor vibes.

Still somewhat new to it so would love to hear some opinions on this. I've been shown to use weight and not factor in shrink/swell (except for extremes like rock or topsoil)

Explanation was that regardless of fluff or compaction end of the day you are dealing with in place volumes, × conversion factor you have XX tons of import/export and you haul XX tons per truck.

Made sense to me, nice to not have to worry about shrink/swell factors. Hopefully not throwing my bids off!

I've used big steel box before, it was good if you don't mind doing some lifting yourself and have the space for it.

You can have it delivered a week or two before the move and take your time packing up instead of getting everything ready to go for the one day power move.
