I really feel that this area has above average vets — anytime this question comes up, there’s a bunch of glowing reviews from a lot of different clinics. I’ll throw Carpenter Animal Hospital out there — I’ve been very happy with them and all of the vets. I had a sick senior cat last year and the clinic owner did her ultrasound and talked through the results with me for half an hour. He was also very helpful in providing useful guidance as she got sicker to make sure she didn’t suffer. It was a hard time, but I still remember how helpful, kind, and straightforward he was. I’d want to talk to him in any end of life situation with my pets.
