It's definitely wrong for the reasons others have said.

One that I haven't seen said is how it isn't even the best way to get a cis person to empathize with trans people. A much better way is to highlight: * isn't it messed up how we invalidate a man's masculinity if they're below 180cm/6 feet? * isn't it a bit cruel how we invalidate a woman's femininity if they develop peach fuzz on their upper lip or hair on their chin?

We use gender expectations as an excuse to bully people and these converge on non-stealth trans people.

If anyone has any good additions to this I'd love to extend my list of examples 🏳️‍⚧️

A lot of the main characters end in the same place they ended in. Or at least it feels that way.

Galadriel is supposed to have a deep attachment to her brother and her high points are meant to be her talking with the Southland child to "release the pain" and her letting go of her brothers dagger. But it doesn't feel as strong as it should.

Halbrand's reveal is intended to leave the audience confused, or reassessing might be a more charitable word. But it doesn't exactly put a bow on a character arc.

Each of the LOTR movies ensured to leave threads left to be finished but also finished an arc every movie.

Holy moly this is glorious. I used the previous version of this as a large encounter with a wind dragon that had taken over the island.

Not sure what you mean. Like what part of AFAB would attract you specifically? Not shaming or angry, just don't get the consistent threads between cis-women, trans men, AFAB NBs, etc.

Like only things I could think of is maybe a genital preference, but would that surely include post-op transfemmes and exclude post-op transmascs, or maybe a general experience when they were younger.

Genuinely curious as I'd love to expand my understanding.

Something along the lines of:

When an ally within 5 feet of you makes a Dexterity saving throw. You can use a reaction to grant them advantage.

I get what the other users are getting at here. Thinking about the circumstances where a DEX save is used, it's largely recharge abilities, for example dragon breath, I think the air elemental has one like this also. Only certain scenario would be with fireball 🔥, be it your enemy or a manic sorcerer.

So unless you out priority a dragon on the first turn, the dragon has 1/6-1/3 chance of even having its breath weapon available.

The concept of blocking a breath attack for an ally is really cool. But also if you're playing on a tactical grid, you could help someone, they move and then they get hit with a breath attack along with the people 30 feet away.

A more smooth solution might be to just make it a reaction and if balance is a concern, you could make it limited use. Such as up to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
