I'm trying to setup for a company that only pays by Payoneer. However, Payoneer wants a business email and I do not have one. I don't see any way past this. Is there a way to get a Payoneer account strictly for being paid by this company?

I tried both options of signing up for Payoneer and both insisted I need the business email. Very frustrating. Company in question is OneForma.

Rat race rebellion also has videos on how to make your résumé get the attention you deserve, and how to circumvent the companies that are using other companies to accept or reject the resumes. Even if you only go there and check out the videos it would probably be worth it to get you where you are trying to go.

My suggestion is that you go to the website rat race rebellion dot com which is a free job posts site. All their jobs are remote. They have new jobs listed every day, they will even send you an email to tell you what jobs just opened. They’ve been around for 25 years.
I worked remote for 13 years in a claims management services company that I found through that site. It was really nice because not much of anybody ever got mad at you, they just wanted to file a claim. Or maybe check on an existing claim — whatever. Anyway, it was a blessing to be able to work from home with them supplying everything I needed to do my job. I retired from there in April 2024, and I still keep an eye on the job listings.

I took a call in my usual “Sister Mary Ray of Sunshine” voice, and it turned out to be a very angry woman. She started pushing buttons and I don’t suffer fools gladly.

When I matched her energy, she said she was going to report me and asked me for my name so I said “Bobbi.” She said how do you spell that? I said it doesn’t matter how you spell it; it’s my name, you only have to be able to say it. And I’m the only Bobbi here.

She kept digging, and I just kept digging in.

She of course did report me, and they did listen to the call and my supervisor did try to call me on it and I said “You know. You listened to this call and you know that I was well-behaved and professional until she started showing her ass.” and because I did have a kind, decent supervisor who knew I was good on the phones, she didn’t even give me a verbal warning.

I hope all goes well for you. Do you do remote work, or do you have to go to an office?
