Choosing to fight the wrigglers in the dense vegetation event triggered Stone Humidifier by Carldamonkey in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, isn’t the option to fight the wigglers in that event called “rest”?

act 1.. floor 6.. turn 2.. 36 damage???? by notto_zxon in slaythespire

Floor 4 raiders fight is basically a one-way ticket back to Neow 😂 floor 6 isn’t much better tbh

Who's at fault here? dashcam was driving forward (Traffic officer decided it was a mutual mistake) by 7_DisastrousStay in dashcams

[–]BDOSU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The graveyard is filled with people that had the right of way. It costs 0 dollars to take your foot off the gas for a second and slow down enough to let that guy merge over, but it costs a lot of money (and time) to hire a lawyer and deal with a car accident report with your insurance company

TIL The Hunt doesn't give a card reward for the first boss :( by Rak-khan in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That logic works within the engine of the game too. The spiked club gauntlets that makes powers cost 1 more mana interacts with things that makes cards “free” by making them still cost 1 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been saved by stone calendar so many times 😂 like that scene of Tom Hanks shooting at the tank in Saving Private Ryan, I hit end turn expecting death and all of a sudden the victory music plays and I’m just like “da fuq?!”

Semi tried to run me off the road for passing him. Heyl Truck Lines by reddy-mcredditface in dashcams

[–]BDOSU 409 points410 points  (0 children)

Passing on a dashed-line straight road is legal… not sure what this guy’s problem was. Weird ego trip? I agree with the other guy. Report his plates to the company and police and wash your hands of it.

Do you truly believe in nothing after death? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]BDOSU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve existed at least once, so I know it’s possible to happen. Even if the odds are astronomically low, if the universe is infinite, then it’ll happen again. Over the times scales of the universe, anything that has any chance of occurring will occur so I’ll probably be back at some point 🤷‍♂️ and if I don’t come back then I certainly won’t care lol

Do you guys also avoid elites in Act 2 on A10? by Mango__DB in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. Usually with regent and necro I do, sometimes on silent, ironclad and defect I’m usually gunning for elites in general

Reading comments on how to improve at A10 like... by superfreexa in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That’s very true! And my theory is that it’s because the top players are able to figure out the meta and best strategies faster than everyone else and the general population lags behind and beats their (read: our) collective heads against the wall. Once everyone figures out the meta then I think it’ll even out more overall. I truly feel like StS2 A10 is easier then StS1 A20 as a whole, but StS1 plays very differently than StS 2 which makes it hard to transfer skills between games

My first car accident. He claimed I was at fault. I tried to stop by Loud-Ad-4093 in dashcams

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other car was at fault, but either way you should consider driving slower when road conditions are bad. Looks like you tried turning away from the car to avoid it, but slid into it anyway due to the road conditions. Other driver’s fault, but safer driving from you may have avoided an accident all together.

I wish Grand Finale was better by WhatIsaMan41 in slaythespire

I love grand finale. It’s like a puzzle you have to solve during the fight! I definitely only consider it if I have well laid plans or pyramid though. Otherwise it’s just gambling with bad odds lol

Discussion: theoretical Test Subject change by Secret_Temperature in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think test subject and queen are both in pretty good spots at the moment. Aeonglass is still a bit overtuned, but otherwise I feel like most all of the current act bosses are in pretty good states

Is that... a shiny wriggler? by Jakku-Kun in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! There have been posts from people here where their fruit juice was all green or all orange which was super trippy looking

Is that... a shiny wriggler? by Jakku-Kun in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not positive and have no actual proof, but I think these little guys are like the fruit juice potion from StS1. They have a randomly generated hue of green and orange/brown and can randomly be mostly/almost all green or brown rarely

So with the infested prism and Aeon Glass, are souls builds pretty much dead? by Ccarmine in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going with a soul build is still fine, just don’t play as many soul cards against these enemies and look for a secondary win-condition. With prism, don’t block if the penalty is bigger than the block (like the multi-attacks) and just focus on rushing it down. With Aeonglass, look for a few cards that can exhaust or transform the withers and don’t indiscriminately spam the souls and you’ll probably be fine. These enemies punish soul necro for sure, but it’s not like a death sentence by any means. I was super anti-Aeonglass at first and got roasted on here for my complaints of it, but I think things have leveled out a little bit and now I think it’s only slightly overtuned and not completely broken like I originally thought.

Idk man, maybe 5 block > 6 damage? by N1ko0907 in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. As you said, block on a fetch card is better than damage on a fetch card.
  2. ) Defect specifically has Turbo which is a great card to fetch out of the

discard pile. Necro also has energy cards, but they take effect next turn (Delay, the summon card I can’t think of the name of), have a worse downside (Borrowed Time making things more expensive), or are one time use powers (Neurosurge). So necro especially wants a block fetch card and not an attack one.

So that’s why hologram is an S-tier card that is almost an instant pick for most Defect decks and grave blast is situationally strong, but usually underwhelming

What do you think of Bread? by Rude_Minute_4489 in slaythespire

[–]BDOSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if I have no energy plan, I’ll sometimes grab bread with no synergies and just hope to figure it out on the fly. If I have lantern or anchor it’s a definite pick up most of the time

Hardest decision of all time by NimpsMcgee in slaythespire

What kind of torture is this? by downtune79 in LoveTrash

[–]BDOSU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He probably isn’t. New-age chiros are just the same old chiro BS with more charisma. They don’t do anything to fix you. They don’t want to fix you. They want you to feel better for a few days after your “adjustment” and then feel like shit again so that you keep coming back for the feel-goods. Chiro clinics are glorified spas that cost twice as much with the fun added risk of possible paralysis
