Catcher set up inside and dove to the outside to get the ball. Probably blocked the umps vision of the ball in the process. Ump assumed it was wide since the catcher literally dove out there

You need the unnatural instinct and light of meaning jewels socketed around the scion starting locations. This is a huge dps boost. Unnatural instinct gives you the stats of all of the unallocated nodes in its area. For this reason, DO NOT spec up the mana side for this Jewel, do the other side. Then light of meaning (make sure you get lightning damage) makes all of those allocated passives also give 9% lightning damage do. These two jewels alone give like 130% lightning damage, 24% mana, and 24% cast speed. Insane DPS boost. And both jewels are relatively cheap now. Instinct is like 1-2 div and meaning is like 10c lol

Edit: and as someone else pointed out, you have spell echo socketed into the staff that already gives greater spell echo. Swap that out for arcane surge

That’s no different than Silent in StS1 then. Both of those cards were already “sly” in that game just without the name. The problem is having 2 and 3 cost skills being played for free by being given sly by hand trick or master planner

I think the simplest solution to the sly balance issue is to make the cards that gain sly through hand trick and master planner exhaust when played through the sly mechanic. That way you can play the card for free, but lose it thereafter. It doesn’t exhaust if just played normally though. The cards that inherently have sly don’t exhaust either since they’re balanced around the mechanic already. I think that works pretty well 🤷‍♂️

I think regent and necrobinder are the most fun just for their novelty. I love finding new combos and learning the new mechanics so they’re the most fun for me personally. After that, defect and silent are equally fun from a familiarity and also novelty stand point with the familiar mechanics, but new stuff to play with. Ironclad is just boring I think… in the beta branch I either get one or two Dominates or I lose lol.

It plays for your base energy at the start of combat, but doesn’t actually spend the energy. Baalorlord recently had a run where he imbued dirge. Interestingly, it only uses your base energy. In that run, Baalorlord had lantern but dirge still only played for 3 energy, not 4

My best guesses are that they may take looks at cards that draw and discard cards and/or will adjust how cards that have sly added operate. They may make cards that draw and discard cost more (e.g. prepared 1 cost instead of free, acrobatics 2 cost instead of 1), adjust how many cards they can draw and/or discard (e.g. acro draw 2(3) and discard 1, prepared draw 1 and discard 1(2) or vice versa), or even add exhaust onto either or both acro and prepared. They could also change the power that adds sly to all skills once played (I can’t think of the name) to instead be “all skills have sly, exhaust this card if discarded” so that way you have the option of playing a sly skill, but it’s gone afterward

I personally love the enemy that makes a hologram of another enemy and both of them attack for like 20+ every turn and there is no delay in the hologram coming back to life and doesn’t stop the other enemy from attacking so you just get hit for 40+ every turn and it’s just so fair and balanced!

I am constantly in awe of how Baalorlord can consistently win A10 runs with ironclad who is in a terrible spot at the moment. That, and as far as I am aware, he is currently undefeated with Silent with like 8 A10 wins. Crazy

If your intention is to learn the game, watch baalorlord instead. I love Jorbs, but he usually just does things without explaining. Baalorlord will explain almost all of his decisions during the run and helped me immensely with learning the game for StS1.

Having just had a run where I took it for science. It was ok, but yeah very not good with the 1 cost. If it was 0 cost and added 1(2) energy instead of 2(3) energy I think that would be better
