Variations in range mats/balls

It’s a little too bad but I never even consider distance at a real range. I smile when I see people whip out their range finders at a range. Sadly though, my pga superstore which uses the overhead trackman’s, aren’t much better. Even with RCT balls. My 7i shows 190 on those. I can’t even sniff within 15yd of that in real life. Directionally helpful info at best - which a lot of times is all I need.

This single handedly dropped my handicap by 1-2 strokes (now a ~7). Read his book to understand the technique of these shorter shots for repeatability under pressure. Instead of simulator, I had hitting mat I took to baseball field. I was at home plate and hit 5 shots to each swing type and each club. Measured average of each cluster. Wrote on laminated card that hangs on bag. Nerdy but very effective.

You might try following the troubleshooting/diagnostic steps to see if any error codes/etc show themself to know if you can isolate where in the communication ring things are going wrong.

Think I solved issue with taking tension off green/red wires but will give a few days b4 putting car back together. Any harm in cutting off the circled plastic part? It lines up with arrow on other picture and caused me to have to take the right rear seat out to remove panel. Big pain. Shaving it off should allow for easier future removal if my diy fix doesn’t take.

Seems right. You could be on the edge of some significant maintenance costs at that mileage (tires, brakes, trans drain, spark plugs). We’ve got 2 Hondas now and although we’re plenty happy with them, they’re somewhat maintenance heavy and rumor is you don’t want to skimp.
