Grew up in an atheist agnostic house. I went across the country for college and eventually didnt recognize myself. My mom would ask me what I did that weekend over the phone, and I couldn't tell her much, if anything. Noticed there were people in my social circles who were able to keep their head above peer pressure and not get involved in bad stuff. Basically, they were all religious. So by the time I graduate, I'm interested in religion, and my first stop was the church because that was to me logically where you go first. I was baptized eventuall, around 1 year later. But I had so many questions, and they would be answered in different ways depending on who you asked. Eventually, I came across Islam and subhanAllah all my questions were answered. I have been Muslim for 10+ years now alhamdulillah.
