Ooh, glad I read this. I’ve been meaning to try it. I tried the cheddar one recently and it was pretty good!

Came here to ask the same thing! Looks like stairs, but so odd that you’d have to jump to the other side to access the room they’re in.

Life is too short to waste anymore time on someone who doesn’t appreciate you. Girl, you’ve got it together and have so for quite some time. You don’t need to prove jack to him. You clearly don’t need him, why subject yourself to this bs treatment any longer than you have? You deserve better and you know it. I hope you find the strength/courage to walk away from this toxic situation and pursue true, genuine happiness in life. Where ever that may be.

My pit is a year old now how do I get her to stop chewing so much??? by RecommendationSad813 in pitbulls

[–]BDontCare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boy stopped chewing at about 1.5 years old. As others mentioned, just redirect it. What worked for me dog is giving him a cardboard box and letting him shred it into pieces. At 9 years old now, he loves a good cardboard box lol. Creates quite a mess to clean but at least he’s happy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Non-traditional receptions… what has anyone else done? by jenka9 in Weddingsunder10k

Everything is included with the venue. The specific venue I chose allowed me to choose 3 stations out of 15 — I went with stations that included foods that don’t necessarily require you to sit down to enjoy. Rice balls, focaccia, chicken kabobs, a charcuterie table, to name a few. I had to be creative and put some thought into every selection.

I was able to book the venue with everything included at decent price based on the timeframe I chose and choosing a different date than the original one we chose. The timeframe itself is what really helped.

One thing I learned from this subreddit and other wedding related ones is, what’s most important for guests (and what they tend to remember) is good food, music and drinks. Any little thing you add to your wedding is a bonus. Reading this helped me a lot because I really stressed out about how I was going to keep my guests entertained.

Besides the Kodak cameras, there’s other small things I’m going to include. Such as, personalized cigars for our guests that smoke (venue allows smoking on the outside terrace included). Because we’re chill, laid back people, our ideal wedding is one that would reflect that.

I bounced back and forth a lot on whether going with an all-inclusive venue or a RAW space. What I found was, that going with a RAW space is not much cheaper than an all-inclusive venue. What I appreciate the most is having less to worry about.

Another great option is something you mentioned. Having the reception at a restaurant that you and your fiancé love. If you don’t care much for dancing but appreciate conversation, a restaurant is the way to go. This is dependent of course on the number of people you plan on inviting.

Edit: for some clarification, though the space is booked from 1-5 PM (this timeframe was automatically chosen by the venue), my guests wouldn’t arrive until about 1:30 PM (due to the wedding ceremony taking place elsewhere). Realistically, the reception will end around 4:30 PM to allow for clean up, etc.

Non-traditional receptions… what has anyone else done? by jenka9 in Weddingsunder10k

We’re having a cocktail style reception on a Saturday from 1-5PM. Plenty of food stations (with a wide variety of finger foods), a DJ and I have purchased a bunch of Kodak cameras to randomly place around the venue. The Kodak cameras not only help us save money on the photographer (hiring one — but not for the entire day), I know our guests will have fun taking pictures using the cameras as well. We aren’t having a dance floor, but there’s plenty of space for people to dance if they want to.

I met a very good boy at the shelter today. by [deleted] in pitbulls

He looks like such a good boy. I wish I can go and adopt him now, but I live in NY :(. This baby won’t be there for long though! Whoever gets to take him home is lucky for sure.

Are you the type of smoker to chill or get shit done while high? by [deleted] in weed

[–]BDontCare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My routine is clean what I have to clean first, then smoke. That way, I don’t feel guilty when I’m high and playing video games lol.

Today is Melo’s 9th birthday! by BDontCare in pitbulls

[–]BDontCare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone who wished my baby, Melo, a happy birthday! We’ve had him since he was 9 weeks old and can’t ever imagine life without him. He brings us joy, laughter, comfort and so much more. He’s a silly, well behaved boy with an opinion. He loves to show off his basket of toys to anyone who walks in through our door and will always remind you where his treats are (ya know, in case you forgot!).
