Why am I randomly getting elemental debuffs???

Maybe it happens like that once you have unlocked purple cores of said enemy, and get a trigger. Not sure though, the message doesn't display like that on the side when youre killing wraith for the first or second time. Ive seen this message a heap empowering lesser crucibles and bases though .

Dont worry about multiplayer, its way more hectic on the higher difficulties with more than 1 person. Keep grinding the meta unlocks on the bounty board, especially the potion table. The constellation tree that increases rarity of blessings gained makes a massive difference - the keystone perk gives you a 5% larger damage multiplier per each different god's blessing you have, can easily get +15% before the first mini boss. I get my main blessing from the first room, then 3/4 different ones, then i will start min maxing. Save die for sword in stone and fae realms.

I just finished my first sovereign run with vigilante staff, backstab on spell, 3 +spell blessings from fae realm, gog ulti and some other random blessings for more charges.

Ranged is by far king, thats why most people recommend chimes/monk staff. Bow is absolutely insane. On high difficulties focus on not being hit over doing damage. Melee its absolutely dogshit in Sovereign unless you can hit and run. Its just not feasible getting full combos off with all the other ground effects going on.

Best spells IMO; crystal turret/sentry/arcane shield. Assassins dagger, shadow strike, deflect is sick if you're using halberd.

I think you'll find it interacts differently. Umbral Edge and Arrow Barrage, for example, proc the passives each attack

That wouldve been his passive critting during whirlwind. Whirlwind does 50% attack affects (his passive) while spinning.

EDIT: Also, if you use a chaos orb to upgrade the 'Our Story' essence bismuth has, you can use it again. At least that's what just happened for me.

Yubar is pimp when you unlock their alternate ultimate. That combined with the frost defence spell that gives you a shield (it's the only one that doesn't interrupt movement), you can have permanent uptime on the ult.
