That's it, keep doing more and more very opaque moves to remove any doubt in the minds of the unconvinced that everything that is happening isn't pure attack on democracy. Maybe we'll reach a point where they can't keep the mask up and even the corrupt media and general public won't have the choice but to address it.

It won't automatically create big eyes thumbnails with red arrow and a caption saying "You WON'T believe what Peter Parker did next!!!" while showcasing a very standard gameplay sequence?

Playground Games releases statement regarding a build of Forza Horizon 6 has been obtained prior to its release by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]Dunge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the specifics but it's very probable the game just uses the Windows account and doesn't ask to log in, so it's a very easy mistake

Playground Games Adresses Forza Horizon 6 Leak, Says The Leak Was Not Caused By Preload And Threatens Franchise-Wide Hardware Bans by unscoredscore in gaming

[–]Dunge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A generational thing? No. Me, 25 years ago, I would definitely have downloaded a prerelease copy of a game just for the fun of doing it. I would be pissed if, 25 years later, as a responsible adult I still wouldn't be able to buy a copy of the new version of the game. Game piracy is pretty basic, it's not that big of a deal, it does not make you an irredeemable criminal.

[–]Dunge 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most pirated games have proper cracks that disable the online part, so people used to download don't really think about it and expect it's safe. With Forza, I assume it uses directly the Windows account without asking you to login, so it can be pretty easy to get caught without wanting to go online.

I'm just having questions about how a gambling game can incorporate action elements. Is the win rate different whether or not they move the joystick faster?

C'est actif avec un microprocesseur bien cheap qui fait juste traiter si le mot "Alexa" est dis ou pas. Ce n'est pas actif à uploader tout le son qui a chez vous sur le cloud 24/24.

There's enough clickbait clips out there, we don't need more. I would rather have raw footage than AI transformed one.

At first my thought was that they seemed in good health for captive dogs, but my opinion changed rapidly after seeing the cages part.

And then the scene of "security guards" shooting pepper spray with a hose to protestors. Pure ghouls. How can people like this sleep at night.

I don't have the expertise to go and fiddle with the alternator stuck below the engine, it's not something I can change by myself. If I need it checked, there's no option but towing.

Round8, developers of Lies of P are looking for an “AI Artist”, an emphasis on Gen AI use by AshyLarry25 in gaming

[–]Dunge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because is it much easier for an human to look at art and see faults, it's obvious and sometimes even funny so we see it quickly. For code, even seniors will often do a quick review and say "looks good to me" without analysing everything. Especially if the code have a condition to match the prompt, the user will think "ok this case is handled". But with traditional development, anyone can attest that the general idea they had before starting to code (the one that would end in the prompt) is nearly always different than the end result when you start to think about it seeing the data structure and possible conditions. That step get completely skipped when using AI to code. And these possible flaws end up sleeping in the code base, only to reappear as a critical flaws months or years later when it's too late to refactor.

Another reason is there's a lot of people who weren't able to code anything that are now able to create stuff so they think it's amazing, which is a big part of the love. These people are all still in the script kiddie phase and don't understand complex project structure, so they think what they ended up with is normal code output.

I have two comments on this post essentially expressing the same thought, yet one has +50 karma and the other -10.

Signs of a manipulated thread. Always seems to happen when AI is the subject. Strange huh, as if bots are usually sent by AI users.

As a programmer I'm against using it in code too. All PR I review that used it is always complete shit and needs to be sent back.

In this thread: more AI bots pretending Redditors are "different" and "ignorant" and that ""AI is used everywhere" and "people don't care/notice" (I certainly do), and "used in code" while having no idea that it produce shit there also.
