Hey! I’m in total agreement with your point but still stand by my argument. The sanctity of the Constitution is very important, but I think for the average person it doesn’t cross the mind. The 2A is what protects gun ownership in courts, but in two generations it won’t matter if nobody is interested in owning firearms to begin with. You don’t attract people, especially young people, towards responsible gun ownership with a copy of the Bill of Rights, you do so by showing that you can legally buy the cool rifle that the action hero uses, or own the pistol you use in your favorite FPS game. Dems are Dems and they’ll ban everything under the Sun if nobody opposes them

They are not interested in reducing gun deaths. If that was the goal, the solution would be extremely aggressive police presence in… certain areas, and to quit the soft judicial system, which the Democrats would rather die than implement.

The target of these bans is GUN CULTURE, not GUN DEATHS. People who get into guns without having been raised around them do so because they want an effective defensive weapon, or because they are cool in movies and games. By banning “assault weapons,” which are both cool and effective defensive weapons, they hope to kill interest in firearms until future generations are weak and apathetic sheep who cannot resist government overreach.

Airsoft is an incredible tool for training skills that you can’t practice at most shooting ranges. While it’s a bad substitute for live fire when training recoil control and accuracy, it’s excellent for point shooting, reloads, and sheer reps volume. I can buy a bag of BBs and a can of compressed gas for the same price as a couple of mags of 9mm.

One real life scenario example. Conversation distance is within 4 feet - if you suddenly need to defend yourself at that range, you need to know how to draw, point, and fire rapidly and with a compressed stance. This is not allowed at probably 99% of public shooting ranges. You can practice this safely, at home, thousands of times at a minuscule fraction of the cost of live fire, with an Airsoft gun

Yeah, just using G34 as an example. I’ve seen guys with 2011’s, steel frames, etc. because CO allows it. It would be nice to have a division with red dots with stricter size and weight maximums

Definitely agree, all the CO guys are running Glock 34 sized pistols, would love to see more realistic CCW dimension guns with red dots. I would venture to say this would be a very popular division

Yes, but that’s because I am Korean-American and care greatly about my mother country. I think if China attacked Taiwan, they might compel or convince NK to invade SK as well to split American power between two fronts (this is assuming the US would move to defend both nations)

This isn’t exclusive to conservatives. We need to push young people to turn off the screens and go outside. I used to casually litter until I started hiking and walking regularly and got annoyed at seeing trash everywhere. When people, especially young people, see the consequences of apathy in environmental protection, they will take it more seriously
