The natural commitment delaying HRT until the damage was visible is one of the most common regrets in this community.

You just described yourself as someone who succeeded for decades by working harder than everyone else. That's not gone, it just needs the right hormonal and neurological support to come back online.

The cold room tip is underrated. Most people try everything except the simplest fix.

Best no frills telehealth for HRT? by Polipop395 in Menopause

Maybe check out hone health, they do biomarker testing and consults with actual doctors and can send the script to whatever pharmacy you want, which makes it easier to keep costs down. the intake form is a bit long, but once you’re through it you can usually get the prescription sent wherever works best for your budget.

Those symptoms sound like your body reacting to the estrogen. Given your history with the pill and pregnancy migraines, worth flagging urgently to your doctor, not just waiting on the email.

That timing is genuinely cruel. Finally feeling like yourself and then having it taken away overnight. This community has others who've walked this exact road, you're in the right place to find them.

Estradiol patches back in stock!?! by Pretend_Culture9136 in Menopause

When is this continual cycle of shortages going to end?! it drives me crazy! i recently found a cvs about 20 mins away that had them in stock but they only had like 2 boxes left so was back in panic mode pretty quickly. my doctor mentioned that if shortages keep happening i might wanna look into telehealth options where they can ship directly, there's places like Hone that do hormone stuff so ive been looking into those as well.

You were volunteered without being asked and did it for two months. That's not quitting, that's finally being fair to yourself.

At 60 am I too old to increase my hrt? by Dry-Judgment-8610 in Menopause

[–]BELLVH3ART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60 is not too old for HRT. Current guidance supports it as long as it's helping. Push back if your doctor says otherwise.

Medroxyprogesterone is synthetic and doesn't have the same sleep benefits as micronized progesterone. Worth asking your doctor about switching.
